U see nobody liked my reply when I wrote Karan, but the makers have always shown his 'ideas' to back-fire on him. And him to be a glorious failure, ALWAYS!!!

Forexample: Everything to do with Prithvi Sherlyn' exposure. It was basically Karan's meddling, mostly just unsuccessful meddling that led to the matter becoming more about Sherlyn being a victim and it becoming immoral for Rishabh to back out.

Similarly, his plan of getting married to Preeta was primarily for her humiliation, but what it has and will lead to is his humiliation.
