Deepika or Aishwarya.The better Bhansali heroine???

Bhansali brought out the best in Aishwarya, so i would have to go with Aishwarya. Even though I'm a Deepu fan and believe she is a better actress out of the 2, but in Bhansali films, Aishwarya emerges as the stronger actress.

Both are terrible actresses. But then, SLB movies haven't needed acting unless it's a Khamoshi or Black.

Aishwarya. her mere presence elevates a movie to another level.

however aishwarya was at least a little bit more tolerable in hum dil de chuke sanam and devdas than deepika in MB and Padmaavat.

Aishwarya was a goddess in Devdas and HDDCS! Even Guzaarish for that matter - she was the best thing about that movie.

I secretly wish BM, Padmaavat was made with Aish and not DP

Also DP was stunning in RL, but pretty disappointing in BM and awesome in last 20 minutes of Padmaavat, but otherwise just a weirdly teary eyed heroine in most of the movie.

Like DP quite a bit but sorry, Ash, hands down. Aishwarya isnt much of an actress but SLB just tapped into some magic with her.

DP does way better in contemporary films like Tamasha, Piku and even LAK where she wasnt great but it was a tough role for a newcomer. Look at how bad Sara was in LAK 2!

Aishwarya was born to be SLB heroine. Even in Guzarish, de-glam she delivered.

She would've taken Mastani and Padmavati to a whole other level if she did it!

Deepika was still blank in many SLB movies.
