Thats like saying that BLM protesters are sending a bad message to the world regarding racism/ police brutality in the US by having one of the biggest organised protests in the world, and hence they should stop.

And I’m in no way comparing these two situations, but “what will the rest of the world think about our country” should not be a consideration for voicing one’s opinion.
