This is a nicely written analysis about Kuhu.

I do not find the sisters' bonding fake. At times keeping their age old differences aside they do genuinely try to be cordial with one another and that shows.

More than them getting along what I find unbelievable is Meenu being so acceptive of Mishti as a DIL all of a sudden.

A honest opinion I never spoke abt mishti n kuhu relation but today I would like to say mishti n kuhu's relation is not at all any interesting. Their story doesn't huv any depth. Neither anybody's insecurities 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀ . Social media discussion n trp audience taste is different may be we like d scenes because of rhea n kaveri's equations but honestly it does not excite me to watch their story or root for their bond. My mom watches d show with me , she is not any one's fan plus she watches as neutral viewer, n I would say she is more interesting in knowing mishti n meenu's equation dan mishti n kuhu's equation. A bond should be exciting to root for. If any bond has good story ppl do like it .

& coming for negative or grey character I would say ppl accepted kunal also when he was a grey character. Ppl accepted varun also though he is negative character. It's not like ppl don't accept. In dat case meenu also.

I have a long list of how cvs have tried to decieve & misguide the viewers but I will restrict to the major ones:

1) Kuhu pushed Mishti on janmashtami but why did cvs choose to write that scene where Kuhu loses it

because the lead is Mishti & Kuhu has just been decieved in her marriage, so her #fairytale turned into #nightmare and she is crying when alone but putting a brave face in front of her both families, maayka & sasural, meanwhile also giving it back to Kunal the supposed villian of the show at that point of time

and Mishti on the other hand is having a very supportive boyfriend and a blooming love story

all this could lead to a very high chance of having viewers favouritism & symapathy shift to Kuhu from Mishti

so make her harm Mishti & maintain status quo

2) Kunal mixes alcohol in Nannu's drink but at last moment refrains from serving him that drink

Kuhu takes sleeping pills in her hand but at last moment realises its a crime & refrains from mixing those in coffee

but in both situation Mishti becomes the agency at last

her unintentional push to kuhu makes the pills fall in the coffee

she unknowingly gives Nannu the wrong drink

but writers do not address this at all & leave the viewers justifying to themselves with 'intention over action' excuse

though the cameraman does his part with extra zooming & close up shots

3) Mishti's galtiyan are unintentional or galti se is made an acceptable fact in the show, but Kuhu's galtiyan, demands are labelled as immature, selfish, bratty and made to be called out by everyone in the show

full usage of perspective, point of view but from only a particular angle

4) Kuhu's mandap demand on her 2nd wedding is clearly shown to viewers as being selfish & unreasonable

Mishti comes out with better solution of having a mandap at the rooftop of the bus, but at the time of pheras they realise there isnt enough space for it, but Abir covers-up & picks her up & take pheras, and in bts it was clearly mentioned how difficult it was to shoot but in the show it goes unaddressed

and to the extent that BP-BM dont get to do the kanyadaan, but it is left unaddressed because it highlights Mishti's short-sightedness while choosing the mandap

so ofcourse #manipulative writing ki jai ho because thats the underlying & basic theme of what this show stands on!!

Same writer is writing Kuhu being unhappy in marriage and same writer wrote Kuhu pushing Mishti, if they had to manipulate because Mishti was happy and people would be sympathetic towards Kuhu then the writer won't show Kuhu unhappy in first place.

In RS shows there r no plain white or black characters, they are all pendulum who change their colours according to the tracks. .. Here in this show, there r mainly 5 characters n therefore these 5 characters r used to create drama, the other supporting characters don't have much to do n they can't offer anything much to the storyline that's y kuhu n meenu are always used to create drama.. It's the cvs fault if they want they can bring up good content with respect to all these relationships but no they are only stuck at one point and they don't want to move ahead

There was a time when the show was mostly about mishbir n kunal but the cvs took a 360 degree turn n now the show is all about mishbir n kuhu, kunal is nowhere in the picture.

B- Rs doesn't leave any one. In PS he didn't leave karthik character to bring separation ,even knowing how much ppl like karthik n kaira , for trp. Even now making karthik unreasonable & making him fight with naira . Hola! Trp increased!!!

In our show screwing abir's character for seperation n for last track dan screwing mishti's character for nishmish marriage n nishant exit. Drama ke liye sabke character ki kurbaani hogi. Nothing new, 🤷‍♀

@bold why should writers address when it is not even a mistake she is not aware the drink was spiked..when nannu needed the drink she gave him

In kuhu case she was intentionally taken the pills to spike the coffee to spoil mishbir pooja though at last minute she changed her mind..but the pills fell in that coffee mugs.. she was aware that the pills were fell in that mug..then why kept mum while serving the coffee mugs for family members(here I dont understand her family love leave mishti..if she really cared anyone in the family she should have told them)it was intentional..she might thought the drink will be consumed by mishti then she can do the pooja she wants to snatch everythign from mishbir

@ blue whatever you mentioned it all happened due to kuhu selfish and unreasonable demand..in that 30 minutes muhurat she took 25 minutes(she even wants to consume that 5 minutes too by taking selfie) only 5 minutes left Mishti did her best to get married on the same day and at the same muhurat

More than them getting along what I find unbelievable is Meenu being so acceptive of Mishti as a DIL all of a sudden.

Meenu being accepting of Mishti is not all of a sudden. The 3 month lockdown showed Meenu that Abir would choose Mishti over the family if given a choice, so she will have to give in if she wants Abir to stay. And that is the thing: she WANTS Abir to stay. If she was okay with him leaving and staying somewhere else and he could still be part of the family, all of the issues would end, and everyone would be happy because Meenu-Abir don't see eye to eye nor do Mishti and Kuhu, and this would result in the show getting over.

Ek teer se do nishaane! Actually teen!

When you can retain the conflict for future (this is the 3rd reason) and still have 2 separate fanbases that keep the buzz of the show alive everywhere. The writers know very well what they are doing. I mean, just look at the fact that the Janmashtami example is still used after a year for almost everything. They definitely knew what they were doing.

The difference here is that you don't need that here. The plot and the characterisation was strong enough to not butcher characters, atleast as of now. 3 years down the line? Sure! But in the first year?

Yrkkh has exhausted all possible storylines and character conflicts so I get that they butcher characters to keep the show running but yahaan zaroorat nahi thi but they still did it. That is the problem.

How is this manipulative writing, when they have reasons to show what they are showing? If they didn't want people to sympathize with Kuhu, they won't focus on her, the fact that there are KuKu fans is because of importance they get from writer in the show. 2 separate fandoms generated because they gave good writing for both fandoms, yes?

There isn't a Ketu fanbase, why? Because writer doesn't put her in the center of the story

What Kuhu did is defended by people because writer is giving reasons for Kuhu to do this, it's just that people expect goodness from Kuhu forgetting that Kuhu is not a white character, she is grey and ruled by her hatred for Mishti, she can attempt something like she did in last Janmashtami, is evidence of how black side of her overpowers her good nature.

Writers don't have to manipulate anyone, they are writing everything from the good portion of Kuhu to bad, one can't say good portion is the original Kuhu and bad one is manipulation. If they are giving Kuhu fans reason to support her, even in extremity then the writing is not bad
