Which director 's sensibility appeals to you the most? - Page 2

Both Anurag Kashyap and Rajkumar Hirani are genius filmmakers. I love and respect them a lot. They have made some beautiful films.

I have watched only little work of the listed filmakers. My all time favorite are - Bimal Roy, Guru Dutt, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Vijay Anand, Mehboob Khan, V Shantaram, Kamal Amrohi

I like Reema. Zoya is difficult for me to digest because her usual message is feel-good but utterly impractical for anyone not in possession of loads of money.

Reema adds that much needed shot of reality and common sense to Zoya's La La Land. Of all their collaborations Talash tops the list.

Raju Hirani..modern day Hrishikesh Mukherji. Zoya and Motwane too...Imtiaz and Basu when they get it right

. I like his movies... I am not a fan of his personal choices.. But mujhe kya.. His movies are good and that's all that matters.. There are exceptions like Mumbai makhmal though 😆

SLB. I just love his style of filmmaking. Appeals to me the most. I like realistic movies too but I think I prefer larger than life cinema more.

Anurag Kashyap, I find his thoughts and viewpoints different than the other directors. Sadly every audience doesn't understand his complexity so his movies remain underrated. His 'No Smoking' movie is one of my personal favorites.
