These are the police and I assume more than one of them had this information.
They're all making it almost impossible to bring a case to court let alone win it. How can they interrogate witnesses when the witnesses have all this info so they can adjust their stories accordingly? If there is a murderer the finger has been pointed in so many directions how can anyone possibly be convicted? If it's not murder, how are they going to convince the public it was suicide and it's not a cover up? How many people would they have stained irrevocably?
It's a garbage way to run an investigation.
