Yes the story is written in such a way that Mishti is rather rendered alone if not for Abir. They can tone down on the family's behaviour or bring back characters who would be more understanding and supportive of Mishti and Abir (the actress playing Varsha did hint that the Maheshwari family would be returning to the show which is a good thing)

That said I do not think the show is faring all that bad when the best trp for that slot is 1.8 (KKB)

Towards the end of last week they had a new promo and now they have also roped in an actor for the role of Kunal. Kunal's return would also open a number of avenues in terms of what they can show in the story.

The makers I feel are trying to guage and understand what works best for this slot, they have a tough job at hands and they should be given some time.

Shaheer name was suggested by Gaurav chatterjee, he is star CEO n rhea name was suggested by channel. He didn't get to choose any of d lead. So he didn't pay head to dis show. Dis show was made because star insisted not he wanted

Secondly lot of things need to be fixed in dis. U can imagine more Dan shaheer Rupal ji is der, she is such a popular face among trp audience. Ruled for 8 yes Dan also dis show in prime time is not getting trp.

Popular faces don't do anything for trp. Ppl will see for one week just to watch their favorite actor but dey won't see d second week if it is not up to d mark. Many show r der which don't huv any popular face but is doing better in trp. Engaging screen play is needed for dat. Anupama don't huv any out of d box idea but still ruling. Our show even beated kKB many times last year because writing was good dat tym

Screen play is another thing. Our show has really weak screen play. Writer team should be changed more than anything

What can i say? It was expected. I don't know whom to blame for this disaster .Channel or makers for changing the time slot and giving a comfortable slot to a new show. Makers,writers,director for coming up with this bizarre track and outdated dialogues.At last we the audience for completely rejecting this track.

What ever it is... as a fan i am disappointed.

This is something I wrote on Twitter as well but quite honestly the show is past the "falling in love" and shaadi stage. The romantic storyline worked well but they are past that phase and now need other aspects to drive the story. Either they can show family drama, conflict in relationships or they would have to show separation between Mishti and Abir.

The COVID situation changed many things and they had to think of a new storyline rather than following the one which they had before lockdown. If you see so many of the other shows, there wouldn't even be this much of thought or effort put into making the story appealing. YRHPK still had some really nicely written and enacted scenes, brilliant performances. They also had a major setback in the form of Ritvik's exit and now they also have a challenge to re-introduce Kunal's character in an interesting way.

Lastly this atleast isn't a show where after a point the makers do not care about what they are showing (speaking from experience after having followed a number of Gul and Ekta's shows 🙃)

If PH won't buckle up then end is very near for this once upon a beautiful show. First they changed the time and then no story and leads are on separate frame.

I feel so bad for cast and crew who literally took a risk and even pay cut but creatives of the show doesn't really know how to utilize it. They use such a sensitive issue however using this sensitive topic to blame Mishti for Ketki's wedding and to repeat their favorite dialogue "Sub Mishti ki wajah se jaap" If they will not forget this dialogue and not coming with engaging story line then this show will not survive at prime slot.

Tbh der was something interesting aspect where kunal character can be used when he comes to know dat d actual truth abt him not be illegitimate. Parul being d legal wife. I was waiting for dis twist. Rithvik would huv nailed it. Well abt new guy 😕 I huv to see

I won't agree abt thoughts being put behind d storyline. It's weak. Dey really couldn't build d mystery.

Totally agree...

Actually to be honest I was dreaming as well as dreading Mishbir's marriage ...

Usually shadi me baad sab shows down the drain ho jaate hai...I think it won't be wise to name some but you guys follow ITV...samajhdar ko iShare hi kaafi hai🤗

But what appealed to me in this show is that

It's selection of story track starting from sibling rivalry,pre marital courtship, flawed personalities as protagonists..both Abir and Mishty.. friendship turning to teravala love..and now PTSD..They take up finite tracks too...jyaada kheechtha bhi nahi hai...

Of course in a new time slot will take time to establish a show...five ppl in a family have 5 time slots...likely family..ek ka time slot badal Gaya to poocho mat....😁

Toning down the negativity element will do wonders though...

PH is going through a rough patch..

Actors also with paycuts and all..

Stress element is high these days...let's hold on to the Rope of hope.. online trp mein No:1 hai na...

The show will only get good trps when the story wud be mishbir centric.. If the story would not revolve around them then mishbir fans r not going to watch the show.. This show is mishbirs show, no kunal no kuhu can get them more trps.. Till now yrhpk is getting hype only bcoz of mishbir fans but if they try to sideline mishbir again for their so called parallel leads then the end of the show is near.. Only mishbir centric track can save this show.. Period

Totally agree with you . Writers have put in a lot of effort to develop the story post lockdown keeping in mind all the constraints. It’s a Mishbir centric track with a lot of scope for performance. They started off on such a high note .

I don’t follow any other show on tv as of now . But have seen a couple of Gul shows and after the leads get married, the story goes haywire and there is nothing much for them to do.

The first week went really well for our show. 2nd week they started off with Mishti taunting drama and it went OTT. May be coz of some restrictions like shah not being available , they weren’t able to do justice to the story. I am still not losing hope. I am waiting for Abir to take control of the situation . Hope the makers had thought of much better twists rather than the ghisa pita predictable story line.
