Being a professional in field of mental health , I will never demean anything as horrifying as depression. But, I also know the fact that not all depressed people end up dying by suicide. , Yes it has possibility I agree. But it's not obvious to conclude.

The only obvious here is depression. Not the death. I am not saying bollywood or any one related have a motive in killing him or whatever but there are other people too who were aware of his condition. You are are lawyer , you must be knowing how people genuinely take advantage of the weakest points.

And when police didn't even see the body hanging, how did they conclude it as a suicide just after minutes.

The marks and everything else don't add up to his death due to suicide.

Doesn't mean he was not depressed! Nobody said he wasn't depressed. It was visible..Evident..

oh, didnt know about this part.......also the lawyer Bhandari said that the cloth used for hanging did not have his fingerprints........how is that possible ?

Whether this was a suicide or not is still being investigated so I'm not speaking to that but there is no correlation between these things you have mentioned.

The article makes him sound very ill. Being depressed again is very different from being suicidal. The latter is extreme.

Anyway I do agree with you that we all are far from the facts. Hence I also stand by my point that just as much murder has no proof whatsoever, so does suicide.

I saw Arnab yell and scream at a man on his news panel for suggesting that SSR had mental health challenges. Even the way the news debates are framed- "WHY WOULD A MAN, SO SUCCESSFUL, SO AMBITIOUS BE DEPRESSED??" Conclusion- IT IS OBVIOUSLY MURDER BY THE MOVIE MAFIA.

Hello? There could be a thousand reasons why someone successful and ambitious could be depressed!!Even if we keep the murder/suicide debate out of this, is this your understanding of mental health? It is a ridiculously irresponsible view being sold on prime time news hour no less! But obviously people watching his high TRPs programme must have bought it.

Agreed about schizophrenia. I also think it was damage control from Rhea/Bhatt camp.

That's what I have heard and read .

That his friend helpers and sister brought Sushant down from hanging before police had arrived.

But if anyone has a confirm news and the truth is something else, please correct me.

Depression means you are ill but it doesn't have to mean you will stop working, going to the gym, etc. Doing all of these activities also doesn't mean you are not suicidal. There are many suicide cases where people appeared completely normal and fine hours or days prior to the act.

(I'm stating this independent of Sushant's case)

Neither of the sides seem true. The ones who say "No one was bad to him in the industry at all that pushed him and it's only his mental illness that caused the suicide", and the ones who say "Only the industry caused the push towards suicide and he was fine before it". The truth often lies somewhere in the middle.

In cases of mental illness it's hard to pinpoint what caused something if the person never spoke of what made them choose the suicide step. Since Sushant didn't write a suicide letter it's impossible to know what went through his mind. Although in most cases if someone is mentally ill, anything bad that happens with them makes them even more vulnerable and does push them towards feelings of hopelessness. For a normal person, if something bad happens with them they brush it off eventually and move on from it. But for a depressed person, the bad thing feels very heavy and weighs upon them, their mind becomes their enemy and uses it against them to confirm their fears and feelings of depression/feeling worthless/feeling low.

Since Sushant went through maligning from the industry like MeToo that affected him, obviously the industry did cause damage to him. So we can't say that the industry did nothing to him at all, and we also can't say that the industry is the only reason why he was depressed. The industry could be one of the factors why he did it, although not the only reason.

Sorry . I refused to believe that Sushant was diagnosed suicidal which Rhea , his family , his friends would have known and they let him be . I loathe Rhea but I do believe she and that Pithani guy would have done something immediately . To save themselves first obviously but kuch toh karte .

If you are this ill, I don't see how he would be clicked so often at the gym. I don't see how a director and producer knowing everything would invest money in it. Again I repeat depression is very different from being so ill to be suicidal.

Also... Sushant himself spoke that he was getting paid smear campaign against him, and people with an "agenda" were targetting him. So I don't blame those people at all who are mad at the industry for treating him so badly

To prove his innocence, Sushant shared screenshots of conversations with Sanjana. Before temporarily deactivating his Twitter account, he had written,

"The last thing worth doing is to defend yourself of the fiction created by an agenda. People using this much required campaign for their personal agenda is too much to ignore. So here is the text conversation with Sanjana till the time I shot for the film. I let you decide."

He shared screenshots of his conversation with Sanjana on Instagram as well. "I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what actually happened, in the midst of this curated, well timed and agenda driver smear campaign. From the first day of the shoot till the last day, this is what happened on the sets with Sanjana. Misconduct ? Not at al. Agenda ? You decide," he wrote.

Sanjana later confirmed that there was no truth to the accusatory reports.

Speaking about this to a portal, Sushant said, "It was paradoxical because it [the #MeToo movement] was something that I stand for. I happened to be one of the intentional and strategic casualties. Many paid campaigners were used to give it a burst. I felt bad and misunderstood. The more it gets written about, the more it damages my reputation, which I have worked hard to build. The movement is a good thing. It is all about changing mindsets.

OK depression has increased since 1990s mani fold

since the family system has broken off and people are running behind this success formula

Further this life style of i me and myself only adds up to pressure

There are no true friends in work place

That is universal truth

All friends with benefits in modern times

You require a strong support a good friend to talk about problems you cannot tell family, a family to be with you in tough times and a mentor

Sushant had none with him in mumbai , father was not with him, friends i am not sure any one was a true friend other than may be a mahesh shetty, a good friend to talk to he may not have had to tell his personal problems.

I am not sure why his family did not stay with him after knowing he had bi polar etc

And the biggest mistake of sushant to leave ankita after he got fame and success in bollywood

A person who loves you when you are a nobody or nothing is the best human and will always love you always. Just never leave them at any cost is best advice anyone can learn in life.

Same way a person who becomes your friend when you have nothing is the best friend for life. Hold them close. Like childhood friends and school friends

This........ all else can be forgotten but how can anyone forget the impact of the metoo campaign.......that too a fake one..........it would crush anyone.....
