Yes that explains everything the sharp marks on his neck which any forensic expert will tell you can’t come from hanging. The cameras in the building mysteriously being turned off. The duplicate key missing. There being a party at his house the previous day where he seemed to be in great spirits.

I of course don't know. My guesses:

1. AK maybe wasn't involved in the behind the curtain games on SSR

2. The powers that be have multiple avenues of support: police nexus (Bollywood holds an annual fundraiser for Mumbai Police, and is in general close), political nexus (good relations with ALL political parties' leaders of worth, both in Mumbai & Delhi), industrialist nexus (strong relations with the biggest and most powerful industrial tycoons), underworld nexus, media nexus. Apart from having bucketloads of black money. Jab Salman ka kuchh nahin ukhaad paaye, I have very less hope. I was impressed though that they actually slapped Sanjay Dutt in his interrogation (he had strong contacts). That is why my ONLY hope is the investigating officer in charge is good and doesn't bow much to pressure. Frantic phone calls toh bahut hue honge, aur ho rahe honge to change the narrative.
