SHORT UPDATE
- Mihir lies to Tulsi and goes to meet someone
- Karan is suspicious about Mihir's actions and makes a plan with Nandini
- Damini and Ganga argue
DETAILED UPDATE
AT SOME SUIT SHOP
*Kt, Mihir, & Tulsi are all searching suits for Mihir* [Kt looks like such a doll]
*Tulsi asks the sales clerck to show her the brown suit*
Tulsi: Mihir, look at this, isn't it nice? Krishna, just take a look it's nice for Papa no? and this *picks up a beige suit* this is for Karan..how will it be?
Mihir: its okay, nothing special about it...show me something else
Tulsi: yes, please show us some more
*Mihir's cell phone rings and he picks up*
Mihir: yes? okay, I'll just come.. *hangs up phone* Tulsi, just pick out whatever you like, I have to go out somewhere
Tulsi: where are you going?
Mihir: Its..um...theres some work left at the office
Tulsi: But Mihir, Karan & Gautam are already there, they can handle it..no need for you to worry
Mihir: yes, but its only they who called..maybe its something important
Tulsi: okay, come back quickly.. [bakri hai kya? ke kuch bhi kehdiya aur maanliya??]
Mihir: see you later
*Mihir leaves and Tulsi's face looks uneasy when he leaves*
AT SN ROOM
*Karan is pacing around a room thinking as Nandini stands and thinks* [I just realize how retarded I write sentences ]
Nandini: I can't understand anything Karan, why is Papa doing this?
Karan: the meaning is clear Nandini, Papa is hiding something from us
Nandini: my heart doesn't want to agree
Karan: my heart doesn't want to agree either Nandini, but there is surely something...now we have to keep a close eye on Papa [wow, kids doing this to parents now?? lol] Don't say anything to anyone, especially to Maa, or else she'll worry.
Nandini: only God knows on what path Papa is going on
STRANGE HOUSE
*A man with a black suit walks into the house. It is lit with candles. He walks downstairs to an area*
*The man is shown to be MIHIR. They focus on Mihir's rings and watch for some reason* 🤔
*Mihir walks up to a lady who's face is covered by dark shadows*
*zoom views on her lips & eyes*
SN ROOM
Nandini: don't worry Karan, I'll keep an eye on Papa also
Karan: thanks for supporting me Nandini
Vijay: excuse me? hi..I hope I am not disturbing you
Nandini & Karan: No no..
Vijay: well here's our business...I mean, business file
*Karan takes the file and starts to look over it*
Vijay: it have everything
*karan closes the file abruptly*
Vijay: what happened? something wrong?
Karan: I am a bit worried Vijay, but in due time I'll tell you.
Vijay: sure, okay. see you
Karan: see you
*Vijay leaves, and a zoom sequence on karan's tensed face*
OUTSIDE SN ROOM
*Vijay walks up to Mohini who is sleeping on a couch*
*he wets his hands from a water bowl and sprays some water on Mohini's face. Mohini wakes up shocked*
Vijay: Mohiniji..
Mohini: haan...
Vijay: did your intoxication wear off yet or not?
Mohini: haan?
*Vijay sings 'halka sa nasha'*
Mohini: no, i didn't wear off but rather I got intoxicated
Vijay: with what?
*Mohini holds Vijay's face*
Mohini: with a papi bichua
*Vijay looks shocked*
*Vijay & Mohini dream sequence* [omg, this is so pathetic, just bring back pullu and I'll gladly watch lakshya n kt's 15min tearing-staring sessions]
SN LIVING ROOM
*Gautam and Sahil are reading and Tulsi walks in*
Tulsi: what is this? you've sent your father to work? he's just come...
Sahil: badi maa, we haven't done such, we didn't call bade papa to the office..why would we do such, we were here ever since
*Karan Nandini walk in*
Tulsi: but--
Karan: what happened maa?
Tulsi: that is what I am asking Karan, what happened? What was the neccessary work that you had called Papa to the office?
*Ganga comes in with a gift box*
Karan: maa, we didn't call Papa to the office. maa, we know papa isn't in a state to do any work...
Tulsi: but Mihir had told me that he's going to the office...
Ganga: arrey maa, just leave it. Look at what I've brought for Karan Nandini
Tulsi: but this was Mihir's idea
Karan *thinking* : and perhaps him leaving the home using us as an excuse was his idea also
Ganga: yes, this was Papa's idea to--
*Mihir walks in*
Ganga: oh, just look, Papa has come
Tulsi: Mihir where did you go out to?
*Mihir brings out a gift bag*
Mihir: have this Karan, your wedding gift
Tulsi: you had said that the kids had called you to the office and that is why you left from that shop. But the kids were--
Mihir: yes, actually it...it was..our manager's phone, Mr. Mehra. I had went there but there wasn't anything important so I had left to buy a gift for Karan.
*Tulsi smiles but Karan looks on suspiciously*
NEXT MORNING
SN BREAKFAST ROOM
*Kt and Archita are setting the table and Mohini walks downstairs* [wow, Kt still is getting prettier by the day..mashallah, so sad that lakshya isn't there to see it😭]
Mohini: oh god!, The entire night I was wondering around, and along with me my room. Archita just tell me! It was you who mixed bhang in my thandhai..how dare you
Archita: obviously mom, like mother like daughter..after all, I am your daugher na?
Mohini: haan. Hai..god knows what I've must have done in this intoxicated state. Hai, now I know..how this poor Kt must have been..
*Kt looks sad*
Mohini: that last year what has happened to her.
*Ganga walks in*
Mohini: oo...sorry
Mohini: just because you are intoxicated does not mean you can say whatever you wish
Mohini: sorry
Archita: Kt..sorry, actually mom is intoxicated, please don't take offense to her words
Ganga: what's the matter Archita?
Archita: Chachi, its just that mom is intoxicated and..she's reminding Kt of last year.
Ganga: Mohini tum bhi naa-... Krishna, how many times have I told you, It was not your fault beta.
*Damini watches from the kitchen*
Ganga: why do you make yourself sad by constantly remembering such thoughts? It was someone else's fault, don't give yourself the punishment. Whatever has passed, just forget about it [even lakshya?😭] your whole life is infront of you, if you keep on thinking of such thoughts then how will you remain happy? I am telling you, just forget everything beta.
*Kt gets teary eyed and leaves. Ganga calls after her but she doesn't stop*
*Damini looks upset*
KARAN'S OFFICE
*an assistant walks into the office asking for signatures on a file*
*Karan takes the file and starts to sign*
Assistant: how is Mr. Mihir? Its been a while since we've met him. When is he joining th office again, sir?
*Karan looks shocked*
Karan: did you not meet him yesterday evening?
Assistant: didn't he get free just yesterday? And anyways I just found out last night, so how could I have met him yesterday evening?
*Karan has flashbacks upon Mihir's words and how Mr. Mehra had called him*
Karan *thinking* : oh god, if he didn't meet with Mr. Mehra then..who did he meet with? Where did he go? Is this somehow connected with his jail...or with something else? surely there is some sort of secret.
SN TEMPLE ROOM
*Tulsi is praying to thakurji and asking for of his protection*
KITCHEN
Ganga: Damini, could you please pass the bowl
*Damini seems to ignore her*
Ganga: Damini, please do pass it
*Damini continues to ignore her*
*Ganga walks up to Damini*
Ganga: Damini, whats wrong? I am asking for something and you're... why are you behaving like this?
Damini: what did you think Ganga? You'll just say anything about my son, and I'll just listen silently.
Ganga: so thats the matter. You tell me Damini, did I say something wrong?
Damini: How can you be wrong? you're ganga. It was my fault that I had given my son to you. To give you your 'godh bharayi' I had to empty mine. I just became a mother for that poor Mayank. He who has done such a mistake that even today he's suffering for it. Why do you take his name repeatedly and talk such about him?
Ganga: I don't believe this Damini. You know what happened. And after all that, you're saying this?? And where did Nakul and Mayank come inbetween all this?
Damini: you came between them. Everytime you come out like a bad shadow. Just to show Mayank bad
Ganga: you're thinking it wrong Damini. Its nothing like that. I am just trying to make you understand that its not--
Damini: before trying to explain anything, just understand this. If I hadn't given my son to you then maybe whatever that has happened never would have. Why are you trying to mess up everything?
*Nandini walks in*
Nandini: what happened? why are you all fighting?
*phone rings, and Mihir picks up*
Nandini *thinking* : today I will find out whom it is that Mihir papa meets and talks to.
