I differ on this. She was alluding to fairness of skin. And it is a known fact that as we start moving towards Afghanistan and westwards, we start seeing fairer skin.

I'll be honest, I've never seen Kangana make an islamophobic comment. I remember even when Sonu Nigam had voiced against azaans from loudspeakers, she had said that she likes hearing them and so is okay with the usage.

Technically the pathetic content on Twitter was by her sister Rangoli. But I do understand that Kangana might have had a say over what was written on Twitter, although I've never seen her use derisive language herself.

In any case I don't support her religious or political views. But I largely support her interview to Arnab and the points she made there.

Maybe she thought colonial rule is like a form of abuse. But yeah it is definitely a very extreme word to use

It is not upto her to label people as suffering from something that she has no idea about in the first place, just like it is not upto any of us to diagnose her with a disorder.

She just comes across as someone who thinks it is cool to use whatever new terms that she comes across.

^^^^^

I know what it is, which is why I did not call it a disorder in my post either. It is, however, a label.

Besides, India's fair skin obsession can be traced back to before the British Raj.

In the same interview, she also said how Yash Chopra had supported superstars like Amitabh and SRK who were of different backgrounds and different religions.

I don't think the comment on the Khans is about religion. Either way it's hardly relevant anymore since 'Khan rule' is on the decline now anyways.

Wait why bring the khans in as an argument for obsession with fair skin...srk and Salman are not “fair”....

what she said is plain bigotry😊idhar udhar ki chiz kehke dont try to justify it.it cant be justified.Khans r popular or not, where their ancestors were before partition, whether india has fair skin obsession is irrelevant here.she said something very hateful n bigoted .bas.

I’m pretty sure there was an AND somewhere there. She said foreigners and Khans
