Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut hit out at producer-director Karan Johar for humiliating her at London School of Economics in her conversation with Republic TV.

I agree with him. If you want to whine day and night, you might as well go do something else. Leave and find another profession if this one is so bad. Move on.

I completely disagree with you on this. Who is he to tell her to leave? Has he never whined or complained about the industry in his life? He has, but did others tell him to leave. NO. Everybody has the right to choose what they want to do. Also, complaining about the industry you are in, does not mean you should leave. It is called speaking up to bring change (though Kangana's tactics and intentions are questionable)

He has the same freedom of speech that she does. It's his opinion that she is a whiner and better off moving on to something else if everything is so bad according to her. It's not an order to leave. He doesn't have power to do that.

Similarly, she can keep on whining if she wants. It's her freedom to do so. It is morally corrupt that she lies so much though. What 19 brands dropped her after Hrithik put a case on her? Show receipts, Kangana. She hasn't had 19 brands in her entire life.

Of course, KJo has freedom of speech. He didn't order her to leave, but he said she should leave in a very condescending tone, like he was passing a judgment (almost writing her off and please note that his words do have an impact in BW) which is what many people are finding a problem with. He is a public figure and he should be mindful of the way he frames his words because more often than not, its not the words per se but the way they are spoken, that come across as frivolous and problematic. Please also understand the current context (where people are speaking about the existence of BW mafia/groupism/bullying) that his tone comes across as even more problematic.

The context is also important here. The lse promotions was after the kwk where kangana was applauded for calling out kjo publicly. There was no other whining or whinging going on. His big fat ego got hurt and he used an international forum to say she shouldn't remain in the industry.
