I like it... Looks fun. Vidya has embodied Shakuntala Devi well.
First half seemed interesting, but then the angsty daughter angle ruined it

I love how Vidya got everything of Shakunatala Devi right! That from left to right or right to left, pronouncing answer as ayensir, we indians are like that only drama or natting with that kannadiga touch, that I am karrect? she is spot on! Probably that's the reason why she comes out as the best part of every film she is in ❤️ Really happy to see the excitement in social media after the trailer release, so many people of my own generation don't know about this firebrand fascinating lady let alone the younger generation, I'm glad this will reach the masses. What an absolute cracker of a personality she was in real life, have followed so many of her interviews and read interviews and articles, absolutele boss lady.
Couldn't agree more.
Vidya is charming as ever. I liked the trailer
Vidya looks good.
What is that godawful wig Sanya is wearing towards the end of the trailer. Looks horrendous.
Since there is literally nothing else to watch, I might give this a shot.
Unpopular opinion, but I actually liked the fun vibe of the film, but I also wish they'd gone for more subtle acting like Piku, still keeping the fun vibe.
But this looks like a rehashed version of Tumhari Sulu.
Also, some wigs🤓 look hideous on Vidya and Sanaya.
Still gonna watch it coz I love Vidya's films❤️

Wow....that was quite savage,👏🤣
I knew she was fun-loving... but didn't know she was this cool. 😎
All pseudo-feminists should watch this. This is the perfect example of an empowered woman, who is respected and known for her talent, and doesn't need to play the 'woman card' to earn respect.
I am very happy to see that they chose Vidya to portray her.😃
Yes and quite OTT .
Shakuntala devi had this mischievous vibe to her not cartoonish.
Rani would have done this brilliantly and flawlessly.
I enjoyed it! Tbh it was different than I expected (also because of my own ignorance of Shakuntala Devi). I think I expected the typical serious woman empowering story about her achievements/all the trials & tribulations she went through, etc. BUT I don't mind things being fun because IMO not all women centric films need to be made into documentaries. Then we all say well no one watches them and that is used to put them down. If the real-life Shakuntala Devi was fun-loving then the movie needs to capture that. Vidya's dialogue delivery was great in the sense I could hear the proper accent (at least sounded proper to me).
I think it's just that the flow to show the conflict between her and her daughter was missing/jarring in the trailer. Hopefully the movie does a better job of building that resentment.
