Why would you nominate someone and then make them feel like: 'tu ghar pe baith, tujhe waise bhi nahi milne wala award. Hum mazaak kar rahe the nomination me'?

Tab to Ranbir ko bhi nahi bhejna chahiye tha invite. Coz he didn't win too.

I understand all that. Filmfare is corrupt. But Rajkumar Rao has to be part of the problem if he was the one who ended up getting the award. He isnt absolved of any blame.

Like people can say Alia snatches awards. Rao snatched the award 👍🏼

He should have been invited but the issue here is not insider, outsider or nepotism. Else RR wouldn't have been won it.

Thats fair. I was responding to someone who said its rigged. If its rigged than even people who win are part of the cheating. Insider or outsider

But rigged is not = nepotism.

Rishi Kapoor admitted to buying an award back in the day. Doesn't matter insider ho ya outsider, if they have bought the award or used unfair means to win it, its rigged.

Here the main issue is they should have at least shown enough respect to invite him. This is like saying 'we were just kidding, you don't even deserve to attend this event'.

Do you follow awards functions?

I don't follow any awards. I don't look forward to any awards because my first experience wasn't very pleasant. After the release of 'Aamir', I was nominated for a couple of awards. But not invited to any of those award functions.

There was also another actor with whom this happened, I don't remember his name.
