I don't follow any awards. I don't look forward to any awards because my first experience wasn't very pleasant. After the release of 'Aamir', I was nominated for a couple of awards. But not invited to any of those award functions.

OK then the problem is not winner but just award set ups. We shouldnt hear anymore complaints on winners then

If they only want to invite winners then don't invite any other nominees.

On what basis do they decide which nominees get invited to the awards? Lucky draw?😆

The main point is that all nominees, regardless of them being insiders or outsiders, should have been invited. That's basic courtesy. Agar nominees aana chahiye ya nahi, woh unki marzi. Besides, how much effort even goes into sending an invite? I doubt they'll be printing out physical invite letters and then send them out. It's most likely done all via email now anyways. In which case, all they had to do was substitute one name for the other.

These are literally all little things that they can be doing to avoid creating messes like this. But the fact that they can't even be bothered to do this much speaks a lot about them, and the "prestige" they hold.

As for the Hotstar thing - the same thing. Send the invite, get the actors to come onto the platform, announce their films, and perhaps say a few lines to let the audience know what it's about. Again, agar do minute inko de diye gaye, phir kya chala jaata inka?
