Mili: old classic of Big B and Jaya Bhaduri . Depressing yet beautifully done.

I absolutely love Milli, it's such a guilty pleasure of mine❤️

Udaan is great too!

These films literally crushed my soul.

In Bollywood I'd mention Ghayal and Anand. The latter isn't dark but the physical degradation, the helplessness, and the death of the titular character depresses you. 💔

Anand is such a classic.❤️

Guzaarish and Talaash. These 2 movies had quite an impact on me and the visuals of the characters were deep in my mind for some time.

Malayalam movie Thanmatra was too disturbing and depressing for me that I can never suggest anyone to watch it ever. Sadly the movie had such an impact that the suffering was too real for me to suggest.

Haha yes. There wasn't a single happy moment in that movie. And it was even more frightening as it is the reality. Oof how could some human being be so tormented and still be alive? It's just amazing.

Also I forgot to add Ugly. Omg the last scene was just...nightmarish imo I think masaan as well. These movies shock you to the core.

I loved Bulbul but i cried a lot in the end. Even though it presented as a fantasy with folklore and sad truth... It was impactful for me. Everything was top notch about the movie.
