How can these Bollywood organizations be so tone deaf? Like, can they even read the room? The entire conversation for the last two weeks has been around this topic, and they still choose to exclude outsiders and put starkids on the poster? Pathetic! Not even a token approach to include outsiders (no, don't tell me Akshay is an outisder, he is an established superstar). The audacity is alarming.

Vidtut has done better than abhi as lead actor lol. His response is good. A flop like abhishek who never got audience in theatres is poster boy for streaming when there are actors who does better than him in every format. Vidyut movie also draws more viewrs on tv than abhi can ever bring.

I hope people trend against it on social media because people who watch such OTT content in on social media.

So if the campaign against it works, streaming views will be less and streaming sites will change the approach.

People usually watch web series or netflix to get rid of the bollywood masala content. Varun , alia etc would be thrown out from OTT in near future. Netflix , amazon prime and hotstar shouldnhave some control over the quality of content. It's not a dumping ground for movies not worthy of releasing in theatres. Few days back, mukesh bhatt denied when asked about sadak 2 being released on OTT. He said that it won't be possible as the film isn't complete yet. This sudden change of events can be attributed to the backlash they are receiving lately. Lockdown is just an excuse. In reality, they know that the movie will tank if released in theatres due to public outrage.

Change wouldn't come overnight or by shifting to another platform.. if anything.. BW going OTT would take even these opportunities away from outsiders
