Is Rising Petrol and Diesel Prices a Sign of "Achche Din?"

Fuel prices have hit bottom-low all across the world. Yet, cost of petrol and diesel is highest in history in India. The price of diesel has even crossed that of petrol, for the first time.

And all due to rising taxes and cess, that are too, highest in the world.

Is this the promised "Achche Din?"

I wonder why Smriti Irani is silent when she took to streets to oppose fuel price hike in the Congress era.
