After following many articles regarding Sushant's death, I just want to say that I feel proud of his fans and all others who decided to make their voice heard on social media. It is clear to me that it is only because of the love and support that the audience gave Sushant that he didn't disappear into oblivion as Bollywood wanted him to. It was that very love that forced even Karan Johar into giving Sushant 'Drive'. Though this mass unfollowing may reverse itself quickly, it will always remain a symbol of victory for me where so many people collectively stood against bullying and lobbying which is primarily caused due to nepotism. That's why this cry against nepotism seems valid to me.
In the long run, I believe if every cinema goer decides to watch atleast one movie every month (or the very least every two months) in the theatres of a Bollywood 'outsider', it will force the hands of the producers to cast them like in the case of Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi. It will amount to just 6 - 12 movies a year for a movie watcher but it can make a big impact for Hindi cinema. Helping 'outside' talent get atleast a firmer hold in Bollywood would be a fitting tribute to Sushant.
