I think a lot of people running around defending nepotism is missing the point. They're not just launching their nanas and chachas. They are in cahoots with each other and boycotting outside talent to maintain their hold in the industry, come what may.

One's nepotism that exists everywhere and still the moral lines are debatable there. The other is criminal bullying that can lead to disastrous consequences as we have witnessed.

I just don't like the dirty politics played by the Bollywood mafia, that's all.

Same....If people are playing politics, bullying, snatching movies, looking down on others...they need to be called out...no one is going to tolerate their shit.....but I don't even consider SRK or Akki making a couple of movies for their own kids as nepotism...every parent has the right to see their kid happy and to fulfill their desires if its with in their means....haan ab he is making a movie and Aryan Suhana are not doing it...he should give a chance to outsiders also...also since he knows the struggle of a newcomer/outsider...but it goes 2 ways....he wouldn't want his own kids to go through the struggles he went through...no parent wants it...

and about supporting stars...I will support whoever entertains me....its not like I am supporting a bad doctor or an Engineer who is responsible for people's lives.....its movies and actors.....I have my own taste and I want to see what I want to see.....I can't see, gory hard hitting movies...how ever good they are....I like light fun movies because movies for most of the people is a medium to escape their regular rut for 3 hours....I don't want to see what I see everyday everywhere...so the movies which may be trash for u...might entertain me and vice versa....its entertainment ....it won't be the same for everyone....

A poor auto driver if working hard the whole day and earning money to run his life wants to watch a larger than life movie...and Salman entertains him...who are we to judge him...ek saara din...auto chala kar dekho...passengers se jhik jhik karke dekho...we are not in their shoes...we don't know why they like a Salman Khan movie and not a Manoj Bajpayee movie...movies/entertainment ko waise he treat karna chahiye...what entertains me is entertainment for me ...rest is trash.

nepotism cannot be destroy it will be always there but people can fight for the respect , whatever respect nepo kids gets even w/o a debut film and they are being celebrated,an outsider who has great amount of experience in theater and television should be equally respected and celebrated

the people needs to destroy the bullying casting couch sabotaging careers and other dark activites of BW world that world is really dirty if dig deeper and dangerous too

star kids some are really talented and its not their mistake they are born to star parents they have their own struggle too the pressure of being judge in every films becos their parents are superstars the audience will show them the acceptance and rejection

what needs to stop the dark activities in BW that breaks an outsider confidence which is the bullying casting couch sabotaging career and many more by the movie mafia gang using their power that power needs to go,a strict rule needs to bring in

and lets just say rangoli's child wants to be an actor, i am sure kangna will do everything in her power to help and launch him. Already she is doing nepotism by involving her whole family in her business, her sister is like her manager and spokeperson, her brother works for her production house, so how can she keep targetting people about nepotism when she is doing it herself?

its only a natural thing to help your family members, anushka even launched her own production house with her brother

I think they know but they are using whataboutisms to derail the discussion.. specially ridic arguments about parents spending money to send their kids to best schools.. that is NOT nepotism

also then saying its their money their choice.. yes invest your own money and make a movie then let the audience decide...who even complains about this?

but the problem in Bollywood is that certain people have hijacked the industry and any related fields, they are using money for the media to push through a narrative... huge stars are offering their stardom and money/clout etc to get their kids magazine covers... then publish articles about how famous they are and how their community college drama theatre performance is deserving of Tony award..

stage fake auditions and then proclaim their mediocre children were deserving winners and then have their friends and other members of the fraternity over hype them as Thespians..

they are working with PR to create an image about outsider female actors as some promiscuous ones who would sleep with anyone to move ahead.. etc etc the list is endless with unethical/immoral and downright illegal behaviour..

Bollywood does not belong to these small groups, these defenders of nepotism are a part of the reason mediocrity is the norm.. a country of over billion people and the move industry can't make decent products?

Exactly, people will watch whoever and whatever entertains them onscreen. If someone loves watching salman onscreen then thats thier choice, who are we to judge thier taste in actors and movies? If someone is a fan of a nepo/starkid then they have every right to watch thier films, its the audience that chooses to buy a ticket to watch a film of their choice, we have no right to dictate to them what they should watch.

And the reality is there is a large section of the audience that loves watching salman khan films, that loves watching mindless comedies like housefull, that loves watching masala entertainers. If some don't like those kind of movies then don't watch them, but there are many people that get enjoyment out of watching them.

Why star kids and families always needs help to get into bollywood? You dont have anything in you to even get even one movie? Lazy to audition? Want easy way, dont want to struggle but want to fool others with struggling stories?

Do the way the outsiders does it. Be fair, do any outsiders get magazine covers before launch? Reject and asked the people who comes to you what have we done to deserve it? You leave it to public right if we like we will watch you and if we dont, we wont. I tell you to leave it to God and destiny, if you are meant for the fame, meant to be an artist, you will get it.

the thing is even if they audition they will still have the advantage coz the producer will most likely pick them over others coz they are a starkid. Thats what happend with alia, she auditioned like all the other girls for soty and kjo picked her out of everyone, and part of the reason why was because he liked the fact that she is mahesh bhatts duaghter.

i agree that suhana should not have gotten the vogue cover before she debuted, they should have waited for her film to release then she could have shot for magazine covers. But now suhana is studying film so atleast she is getting educated and hopefully ready for her career. Yes if she wants she could audition for roles, but like i said coz she is srk's duaghter that naturally gives her an advantage over everyone else as the casting director will know that the audience will be interested in seeing srk khans duaghter onscreen, it automatically gives the movie hype

Nepotism is not going anywhere but in future these star kids will well aware of today's scenario, how these star kids will condemn by public because of their struggle free way to top. Now, Nepotism business will run with extra precautions and they will build star kids (Fake) struggle story then they will get launch by nepo industry.
