Will OUTSIDERs Now won't do NEPOTISM in future? - Page 4

Nepotism is a problem when you start giving other deserving people place to them ... you gave a break to star kids ..its totally ok but why you create an environment to bully outsider debutant because you think that deserving outsider will be a threat to star kids in future... Why you create that kind of atmosphere where outsiders feel ignored and you take advantage of your link to spread negativity about them through blinds and PR activity.

Star kids already have an advantage because they know most things about Bollywood while outsider knows very less in comparison of them...

This snatching and all used to happen previously too but not as much as it is happening now. I don't mind nepo kids as long as they are not throwing 10-12 films of theirs on us every year.

And calling some of the nepo kids mediocre even before watching them act is the stupidest thing that happens on this forum

Let them debut let's see and then decide.

With alia, the problem is the number of projects she does per year , she literally gets projects by lobbying.

Priyanka, kangana have already brought in their family members.

SRK can launch his kids with his money. I don't think there is anything wrong there. His money his wish.

Akshay's kids are still too young anwyay.

I don't really mind nepotism as long as the piwer is not in the hands of one or two families. But to be honest bollywood has a good mix of nepo non nepo.

Unlike telugu industry where if u are a telugu girl, u will only get side kick roles.

I keep hearing that but math wise Alia has a smaller filmography than a lot of girls. For example Tapsee came in Hindi films after Alia and she has done more films than Alia I think.

She is very annoying in telugu movies and i don't really like her acting. So thing is she is well connected too.

So we won't be seeing Debut of their Kids or Launching of their Family members?

Their kids will debut, but to create an environment whereby to launch and concentrate majorly on the star kids and putting other blooming highly talented artists down will keeps things same in the industry. There must not be people or things like Karan, Salman and YRF contracts with reservations or Mafia as to affect an artist's career who have never been a part of Bollywood previously. Bollywood must not be in the hands of a few people to control the industry as to affect new and established artist's career. The public must decide their careers. The point is Bollywood mafia or Music mafia should not exist in Indian Film and Music industry. But we live in a dark age with uncertain future. Sushant became a victim of Bollywood Mafia.

and to be fair...let us say SRK or Akki...they are outsiders.....they worked so hard....kiske liye...they give 50 crores to help others.....aur agar inke khud ke bacche BW mein aa chahe toh ye unko mauka na de ....woh bhi apne khud ke paiso se...I woud understand...if public, shareholders ya Govt ka paisa hai...but khud ka??How fair is it for them....ki saari umar mehnat kari...aur cannot fulfil their own kid's ka wish...ye itna entitlement kis baat ka hai??

Btw I agree with you. I think the whole deal with Nepotism is that the industry should allow talent to flourish, and not treat nepo kids like VIPs.

The industry should be a little KIND to outsiders too. I can't imagine what outsiders, struggling actors have to go through on a daily basis to survive in the industry.

BUT I hate how all the blame has shifted to KJo and a few nepo kids, just because they're easy/soft targets.
What about those casting directors, who harras outsiders?
What about those directors, who treat outsiders like sh** ?
What about other mafia people of Bollywood?

People have missed the most important variable in this whole "Insiders vs Outsider" debate, i.e, talent.

Outsider + Talent ---> YES
Insider + Talent ---> YES

Outsider + No Talent -> NO
Insider + No Talent -> NO

Sushant was a TALENTED OUTSIDER, that's why people are angry and deservedly so.
But that doesn't mean all outsiders are that talented like him, OR all insiders are evil/bad which people are making it out to be.

Only reason why none of the self made stars are not coming forward and speak up against Nepotism is because they are either dependent on people like KJO or that they know in future their kids will face the scrutiny. It's easy to ignore and be cowards. Most of them are muppets and dance to Bollywood mafia's tune. Only few got the guts and have the courage to speak up. History will keep repeating itself until everyone changes their attitude.

Yet another reason why I love Kangana. She openly discuss and raise awareness, she even said she will let the kid find their own away.

It can actually go hand-in-hand, it's their money and their wish in whom they wanna invest in. But snatching what is rightfully earned by others is a big no-no. I had watched Radhika Madan's interview where she confessed about SOTY-2 audition and angrezi medium auditions. In former case they told her she's talented but not stylish and she has to develop it, then she understood the undercurrent that they wanted to launch whatshername? In later case the director wanted Sara but she convinced him and proved better. IMO the struggle is not an issue but to create this farce for outsiders is!
