She faced the camera for the first time when she was three and half years old for a serial called Kacchi Dhoop. She went on to win the state award when she was in school for a play called Didi and a marathi film, Lapandav. Meet Sai Deodhar, the immensely popular Monica from Saara Akaash.

The talented Sai has acted in the hindi film, Prahaar, directed by Nana Patekar, where she played Dimple Kapadia's son. She also worked in Amol Palekar's film, Dayraa which was based on transvestites.

Her ticket to fame on the small screen was Saara Aaakash on the sets of which she met her current husband, Shakti Anand. Shakti and Sai started as friends and cupid struck gradually. Post marriage, Sai feels she has become more balanced and enriched as a person. Currently, Sai has started shooting for her first documentary film and aspires to be a successful director one day.
