even worse,some non actors, beauty queens got author backed roles on diamond plates, and then awarded for mediocre performances.

timing is right... lets also voice for the actors/actresses given movies only cos they have beautiful face. this needs to bring to the table as well. many real talent were ignored, with ....oh you look ugly, thodi zyada kaali hai, non actor, actress material, get lost. the jury selects a beauty queen instead.

What’s wrong with getting movies because of your looks? This is the entertainment industry and we need a wide variety of looks. That’s why people like Sunny Leone rose to fame. Why is that bad ? It’s a lot better than being forced down people’s throats

Plus , beauty is god gifted (in most cases) There is nothing wrong with wanting to watch an Aishwarya or Katrina on screen. We’ve had beauties of all color as well Like Bipasha, Rani etc. It’s your nepo wali betiyan who are all one color with the same nose and lips.

Getting work because of your looks is not the same as stealing work from people and upholding a nepotistic environment. Some roles require looks, beauty and what not. It’s not like good looking people are doing a movie like Black or Kahaani and “stealing work” lol you don’t make sense at all.

we also need varieties...insiders and outsiders should be welcomed.

I don’t think youre understanding the point.

Being beautiful, well connected or getting an opportunity because your parents are influential is not the same thing as a group of insiders grouping up to prevent outsiders from being successful and purposely derailing them.

The issue here isn’t obtaining the opportunity. It’s the politics behind the scenes to purposefully undermine people.

Yes people like Abhishek get so many chances. But Amitabh Bachchan is not bringing other actors down to elevate Abhishek. He may get him work, but they’re not actively taking away work from other people. If that was the case people like John Abraham would’ve been abolished by now, he was successful than Abhishek in his prime and still is now. Why couldn’t Amitabh make a few calls and get John out?

It’s not so much nepotism that’s the problem, cuz that’s everywhere. It’s the power play and dirty politics.

There are so many stars who may have gotten acting opportunities due to connections but nepotism hasn’t helped them or hasn’t advanced them in any ways - such as : Shraddha, Alaya, Shahid Kapoor etc
