My college's Dean conducted a lecture on mental health today and I feel a lot better now. Your and Lavy's posts helped plenty too.

It's really difficult when it happens to someone your age and you've seen them around a lot. An classmate of mine from high school passed away by suicide a couple days before her college graduation. I wasn't close friends with her but I remembered her as a very sweet person. She used to write articles that I would read so it was very shocking. The sad thing is that so many times someone looks perfectly happy from the outside and we are unaware of their inner turmoil. Sometimes, a lot of people even ask for help but we miss or ignore the signs.

Yes he was seeing a therapist for the past 6 months and was on medication. He was living with a friend and previously with his sister so yeah they were aware. Recently, his manager also passed away by suicide so I think that probably affected him even further as he was already depressed. It's really heartbreaking 💔

yeah but i think this statement is sort of debatable ...there are star kids who do work hard & earn good names like Rishi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, ...yes, it unjustified when undeserving candidates get the roles...it is the casting director or hiring manager that should be held accountable for allowing on the basis of money/connections to star families...
