They are celebrities, so they have to face all that unnecessary hatred coming their way.Even for this unnecessary hatred there must be some reason.

Smear campaign from the media/insider pr and systematically a snatching away films he was promised to be in is worthy of discussion and debate and condemning.

not kissing ass is not the same as active sabotage / hold off on recognition / bullying...learn to differentiate between the two and discuss the right things

You don't think there is any connection or planned scripting behind Sushant never being invited to KWK. Despite unarguably being an A lister. To Sonam Kapoor pretending to not know who he is despite the fact his films, on average, faired better than hers. To pretending he wasn't desirable despite being more attractive and intelligent than most male star kids. You don't think this show isn't used to sell an image they wish the audience perceives as reality? The same way both Aamir and Karan saying they feel "Alia, Deepika and Katrina" are three of the most hottest women in Bollywood wasn't scripted. 😆 You don't think this wasn't part of a marketing strategy. The same marketing strategy that helped Gully boy get all the buzz. When in fact "Chichore" did better in terms of box office success. And IMHO was a better film. You don't think Karan is behind marketing strategies like these? 😔

If I may intervene. There is zero correlation between a mental health condition and intelligence. Zero. Let that be known.

To have an understanding of the overall picture, Sushant’s condition would be formulated by looking at his presenting symptoms, predisposing factors (bio-psyc-social vulnerabilities that make him more susceptible to depression), precipitating factors (specific event or trigger for the onset of depression), perpetuating factors (factors which maintain negative symptoms of depression) and protective factors (factors which prevent or lessen particular behaviour or symptoms). Now in the case of Sushant. He may have already been vulnerable to depression because of possible biological factors (family history of depression?) or the trauma of losing his mother. That can be considered an evaluation of predisposing elements.

The precipitating factor that triggered the depression could be his own personal issues (unbeknown to the public) OR could be a result of a bullying incident. That cannot be ruled out entirely either. The bullying in BW can also be considered a perpetuating factor that maintained his depression. Sushant did not have much support in the industry, so protective factors may be less - which means that his toxic environment was more likely maintaining his condition rather than lessening it.

As you can see from the above - no such concept of the formula: high intelligence = less likely to be mentally ill exists.
