The limelight: He didn’t invite irfan khan, dude who is the face of Indian cinema worldwide.

He dosent include ss rajamouli in his best directors rapid fire and dude has given him his biggest hit till date and in the country.

I was actually against the pile on happening. KJo, Alia, Ranbir, all the junior Alias, Sonam, Sonakshi, etc. seem to be dim bulbs with an inflated opinion of themselves. They're quite pathetic, actually. SSR was by all accounts an intelligent man. The nepo gang was likely threatened and resorted to mean girl tactics.

They were in all likelihood too dumb to realize these things have consequences. Or that these things have consequences they would be forced to see unlike the death of a driver or a maid which would get swept under the carpet. Or that the consequences would cause a public outcry.

Problem is I assumed they all had consciences and would be feeling horribly guilty.

Seeing the amount of support they're getting in this forum and the kind of arguments made, I have to assume a certain amount PR involvement and coordination.

Excuses thus far:

1. Oh, they simply didn't invite him to parties

2. Oh, it's the producers money, and he's entitled to hire who he wants.

3. Oh, the audience should've gone to watch his movies.

4. Oh, how do you know for sure the blinds came from nepo gang?

5. Oh, isn't this bullying, too?

6. Oh, what if one of the nepo gang does the same tomorrow?

1. First of all, untrue. They did a lot more than not invite him. Secondly, imagine being in an office, and every party, you're the only one not invited. Yeah, not cool.

2. When the producer puts financial and work-poltical pressure to not hire an actor considered a threat to one of his gang, then it's a problem. Adi Chopra for all practical purposes damaged SSR's career to favor Ranveer's. How many movies did SSR lose after Chichore's success?

3. Audience did go to watch his movies. SSR gave hit after hit. Unfortunately, the film fraternity either ignored his success, dismissed it as due to other factors, or gave credit to people like Sara.

4. The nepo gang is vicious but utterly dumb and so confident of their ability to escape consequences, they admitted on television they spread rumors and and blinds.

5. Yes, it is bullying to do the same to you. I hope it doesn't go too far, but having a small taste of the same medicine might help you think twice because you clearly don't have the emotional depth to feel guilt or remorse or empathy.

6. If one of you tries this tomorrow, there will be a lot of guilt to pass around. Problem is there is no other way of making you face up to what you did. Problem is also that the coordinated PR campaign you're running here and on other social media sites tells the world that YOU don't feel any guilt in which case the pile on is entirely justified.

7. Do you have a heart? If you knew it already, why deliberately make it worse? Or is it that you're doing one final smear campaign against him to escape the consequences of your actions? NOTE: This is not to avoid acknowledging the very real problem of mental illness. This is to call out the insinuations of "too unstable to work with" put about by Bhatt camp and the like.

I still want to believe the mean girl gang was vicious but too dumb to realize the consequences of their actions. I still want to believe they feel some amount of guilt. So I'll again say this. The gang did not directly cause SSR's problems. Their behavior made it worse, but they couldn't have been expected to know.

Still, those arguing that KJo, Adi Chopra, Ranbir, Ranveer, Alia, Sonam, Sonakshi, junior Alias et al did nothing wrong are doing so with the benefit of hindsight. They're making that argument despite seeing the very real consequence. If this is not PR and simply members posting... I don't know what goes on in your real lives, so I'll refrain from making comments on the behavior. Try to find some sorrow in your hearts for the life lost, the potential lost.

Yes it would be great to dismiss all the mocking he does there as a stupid show with his clique. He has stated he had to work very hard to get Salman and Aamir on the show. Aamir once said he didn't feel like the show was worth attending because he found the intent to be to insult other celebs. I am not sure what the deal with Salman was but they willingly chose not to come. If that was the case with Sushant he wouldn't have said things like he felt excluded.

Again Salman or Akshay might not be included when asked about best actor categories. They are included in other categories like best body. They were never repeatedly mocked. Hrithik got invited plenty or times as did Rani. We don't need to get into when they were invited or why. If it was due to there down time. Than Sushant has been a success since he entered the industry. It makes him not be invited even more suspicious.

Irfan Khan along with many other art actors not their prime were not invited. Sushant was a successful mainstream commercial actor. And again was Irfan mocked?

You honestly mean to tell me, Aamir and Karan genuinely think Alia is the hottest woman in Bollywood along with Katrina and Deepika. You mean the year SOTY released, the fact everyone saw her as the most promising new comer wasn't scripted or a marketing strategy. Even at that time their post here about how people felt it was fake. You think the fact that she made three to four appearances on the show in the past seasons wasn't a marketing strategy.

To dismiss it as a stupid show would imply not to look at any fact and use your brain to think about the greater significance. The same way Karan tells us and expects to watch his movies. We must leave our brains at home?

Exactly I still don't get the notion of how calling out bullies or standing up to bullies was also considered bullying. By saying that everyone claiming that the bullying could have triggered depression is accusing the nepo mafia of murder is a false equivalency. Do they not want us to stand up to them?

Now that is one accusation I will make. I refuse to believe Karan Johar has that many ardent fans. Besides sucessfully running a production company that his father got off the ground he is a loser. His first film was sexist. Second one was OTT. The huge stars he got due to his father's connections and production value got the audience in their seats. Half the time people pouncing on you are new members you haven't seen before until recent years.

Alia might have some fans. But itne? Hrithik and Aamir don't have as many ardent fans here as her. You can make the argument she is fresh and upcoming but still.

Why would people defend Karan's behavior after seeing such devastating consequences. People accuse TV actor fans of being irrational. They have never gone so low. People thought Salman fans shouldn't support him after the manslaughter at least many here agreed the manslaughter was wrong. Are they trying to tell us that Karan has more ardent fans than Salman??

I just want to say that it’s very upsetting that his death has been used by manipulative people to achieve their own agenda in this period. The guy was mistreated when he was alive and still is being used for negative reasons even after his death. I don’t understand the hatred for BW actors has been receiving. They are not close friends of Sushant. They don’t owe anyone an explanation. They don’t have the obligation to be there for Sushant. What happened with Sushant is sad I agree, but stop disrespecting him further by using his story to shame others. His close ones tried their best to be with him. But he clearly avoided all of them. I’m not saying what he did was wrong, I know this myself so I know what went through his mind to reach this stage. He saw no hope to continue. That’s what depression make us feel. Maybe people can divert their energies hating on BW celebs to go read up more on this mental illness and how it affects people and their minds. Read up on how even a small word can hurt them like deep or motivate them to max. Educate yourself and show empathy. Instead of being toxic and going onto to hate other people. So this is my last post on this. As an adult, I've always found it weird when people here act like babies and run to the mods. I won't do it and I've never done it. I'm not interested in getting anyone warnings or anything. But I do want people to understand if and when they've done something wrong.

Making jokes is fine. Making jokes at someone else's expense is not fine. You and the other accuser were ganging up to make jokes about me supposedly being some vile person's MID. When she made the first accusation, I only responded to her. But you jumped in when you weren't even being spoken to in order to defend her and whine about me being uncivil and attacking her because I said she had pitiful detective skills. Telling the truth about her poor abilities that also accuse others of unsavory things is absolutely warranted. He invites ppl he likes. some like rajamouli, kashyap, Rajkumar Rao play the game and benefit from him while still keeping their distance since they don’t want too much of an association with him.

Some outright refuse to come on his show. Some kiss his ass.

Regarding aalia being projected on his show when soty released, he did the same to Deepika who debuted on the show before oso even released .
Because his friends srk and Farah were launching her:

he praises his friends, runs after successful ppl (rajamouli, Vijay deverakonda, Tiger, Vicky Kaushal, Karthik) and ignores people (successful or not) if they don’t play by his rules(rgv, kangana, Aamir, Salman, Ajay devgan, shraddha, kashyap)

We give his preferences too much relevance and make it seem like his show is some stamp of approval ...all the people he ignored including sushanth managed to bag super hits and lucrative offers without his push.

So he can push and shove his friends all he wants on his show , if we don’t give it importance (which we do ...a lot) it dosent mean shit.
