Agreed. But once you are used to money, even a party with Aishwarya Rai won't bring you any more happiness than a middle class kid gets with a cake and two balloons with his parents. Happiness is so difficult to quantify. I used to get happy with Nike sneakers and now even a whole new wardrobe won't make me crack a smile.

How about you talk about Sushant's movies and songs and favorite stage performances for the love you claim to have for him.

But you're busy bashing and trashing and blaming everyone else.

Again, we need to be careful. For one, nobody’s knows all the factors that pushed Sushant to commit suicide. We’re grasping at straws here, making a big assumption that his decision was ONLY due to his career and then extrapolating that to to nepotism and bullying. I think that’s unfair.

Karan Johar didn’t pull the trigger that ended his life. Nor did he at any point send him guy texts to end his life. IF (and that is a major if) career was the reason for him feeling this way, well he’s neither the first nor the last. Bollywood is a cut throat competition and yes connections will continue to take priority. Happens in every field, more so in Bollywood.

I think we’re setting a dangerous precedent if we’re going to start to blame Bollywood and colleagues for someone’s suicide. There’s so much that goes into it. And ultimately, it was the man’s own decision, which is very disheartening. But we cannot continue to punish everyone else for his decision.

I feel like we the people want someone to be held accountable, so Karan has become to scapegoat. Tomorrow if Johar commits suicide, will we blame twitter trolls?

When he was found sending out tweets like, "Please watch my films or they will throw me out of Bollywood." When Shekhar Kapoor talked about people in the industry that backstabbed him. When Raveena tweeting a bunching of messages and alluding to mean girls that block you from getting work. When there several debates found with industry insiders alluding to a several production boycott. When there is evidence of Bollywood insiders mocking him caught on video. When he himself said he felt excluded. When he never got an invite to a popular talk show despite delivering numerous successes. When the people currently ruling Bollywood have garnered a reputation of being nasty to outsiders. When certain insiders are alluding to professional bullying. Than what are we to assume?

Again nothing explains depression. But Sushant was an intelligent, handsome, successful guy with his whole life ahead of him. There is actually footage that shows how happy go luck he use to be once upon a time. Why does depression only hit outsiders in the industry like Jiah Khan, Divya Bharti and now Sushant? It doesn't discriminate between insiders and outsiders from what I know. Maybe it does hit insiders. But how come only outsiders end up taking their life? Why such a discrepancy? That too at such a young age?

We can assume anything. But there is enough information to connect some dots. Yes, no one pulled the trigger. But bullying isn't excused for children than I strongly believe it shouldn't be excused for mentally developed adults.

There are threads to discuss that. But my question is, why are you desperately trying to justify nepotism and bullying behaviour?

Constantly belittling Sushant in KWK, Kareena asking Sara not to date Sushant, making fun of his looks-- why are you so desperate to justify such toxic behaviour? Quite interesting.

That was you but happiness is different things to different people. We don't know what it is to Ranbir and what is to Sushant. We do know Ranbir had a career handed to him on a platter almost. While Sushant had to work a lot harder. I worked with underprivileged kids who would explain to me their struggles on a financial basis every single day. Of course privilege kids would not ever know about those because they wouldn't have to experience them. And almost all of them had serious family issues. Very serious fights about family. I use to teach in a school with the formerly incarcerated kids. Almost all came from low-income households and had very turbulent personal family lives. I had yet to see one person well off. That is not to say well off people don't have turbulent personal family lives but they don't have to worry about the other half of equation like not being able to get meals during the economic collapse right now.

After a while going on vacation every other month with a different girlfriend and have new cars every three months won't do much for you.

It is strange that everyone brings ranbir into it but nobody ranveer, even though it was he who benefited the most from it. Afterall it was ranveer who got the movies that was snached away form him.

People defending Karan Johar brought up Ranbir being bullied by Deepika and Sonam on Karan's show and why we didn't feel as bad for him? We are just explain are view why? No one who thinks that the nepo mafia although not responsible for Sushant's suicide but shouldn't go Scott free for triggering depression would have given any importance to Ranbir otherwise. Besides maybe excusing Alia. She didn't know Sushant because she doesn't know the President of her country. Its Ranbir in her eyes.
