Have you ever thought about pursuing a bollywood career?

At any point in your life have you considered joining Bollywood (or any film industry)? If so, what role (on camera, behind camera, etc.) and did you take any steps to start the career? What changed your mind?

Or have you had a job in the industry? How was it?

Curious to hear any stories because sometimes I consider it 😊

i get that. it's definitely a hard industry to make it in for the reasons you said. i even remember my lightbulb moment when i thought "what's with all these kapoors in the movies?" lol.

engineering is a really good field to be in though 👍🏼

I tried getting into Whistling woods for acting

but fees was tooo costly for me.

So i tried in FTII also. but since there are only 6 seats or something, couldnt get in

I think i should join Barry John, but i feel only influential ppl can get in

FTII would be amazing, but the competition is so high to get in there!

Good luck with Barry John! You should try for it! It's better to apply and see what happens then not bother and have regrets later 😊

Yes when I was 8 I was fascinated by C.I.D & wanted to join ACP Pradyuman's team. If you count that 🤢

I did at some point but to be honest, I can't do all the sleeping around, drinking and partying to make connections, sucking up to illiterate industry kids, and doing all sorts of dumb crap to stay relevent and in the news. Nah man! I have a cousin who got into modelling and all I can say is that its very easy to lose yourself in such an industry to actually make it. I'm not okay with selling my morals for a career. So, I'm pursueing medicine instead.

I would love to be a writer/script writer. I have a few ideas I've joted down over the years but I wouldn't know the first thing about who to meet and how to get my work read. But that's the only thing I see myself doing and if I learn about filmmaking then maybe a director.
