Perhaps targetting big corporations will get the eyeballs for the movement since they are the ones that hold the biggest lobbies.

Lets not forget, big corps will be back up but how many ppl will be furloughed from all these businesses at this time during pandemic. Easy to say let it burn we will build the community again but how will employees survive this rioting and pandemic without work.

yeah got that but I don't really get their reasoning..? if their support lies with the protesters then how does burning down their property do anything 🤔 the Target store that got looted, I read, was funding the local police department, plus they are heavily insured and all, so makes sense to attack the places that are supporting the cops, but I doubt the racists give a damn about some Indian business getting destroyed.. seems counter-productive

Very true. For big corporations, the CEO will still get their millions at the end of the month and year without fail but maybe not employees who live paycheck to paycheck. I don't know what the protocol is in the US in the event of a civil unrest but considering labour laws, they should be paid regardless. It's really the small businesses that will have a hard time rebuilding themselves.

Amazing. He is a bigger star so has better place. Even TV stars homes are quite big comparatively. Due to covid we got to see more of celeb homes. Yeh Mumbai ka lockdown ab bhi chal raha hai kya?

Yeah . It seems truly unfortunate. I am going to assume they already have done kind of insurance policy or support to rebuild their building. Not sure how much of the building got damaged.

Mumbai lockdown is still on with few relaxations and will be their as its worst effected city with double positive rate than the country and more fatality rate, they will ease lockdown from June 1 in Maharashtra but what they would do mumbai still to be seen.
