Plus, in the recent time, a lot of shows were blindly copy pasting ITV and some were totally dumb but economical.

Finally found a daily soap while binge watching episodics of the favorite I was talking about. I've gotta say, I am hooked. And loving her role here and the portrayal as well as the other cast so far. 👏

Another thing I loved was that she is playing a widowed mother of a 6/7 years old and killing it. This is one thing I really admire about my native actresses and some ITV actresses too that they don't shy away from playing mothers unlike some popular actresses.

Can't wait to download the already uploaded episodes. Although don't know if they'll come back or not considering the current situation.

Okay. Yeah, can totally get the theory and even I have seen such things.

Great to know you found something.

Interesting to know. Totally agree to this point, it's very important to do that. Also what I admire for some people is they play the characters, and act even post marriages which is rare, cos many actresses mainly just quit or do some stupid role or get too reserved.

True!

Had to go yesterday as got a powercut.

Actually, don't have much to talk about. I am binge watching a native drama series now and once I am done, back to studies. Loving the FL and ML's acting as well as most of the cast. The only problem is, the original show was supposed to have 104 episodes and makers said whether they would extend it or not depends on its popularity. They stopped airing after 34 episodes due to the lockdown. So I am half prepared that they will not be coming back. But the show is really nice so I am a bit sad. 😒

On a side note, watched 60-64 episode of Nazar for the first time and got pissed. I mean, Piya was horrible and Ansh had such an amazing character but they made him an idiot out of nowhere for MoVed. So I am thinking to stick to my favorite episodes only.

Hmmm... Interesting.

Rarely do we get to see such shows where the ML, FL as well as the supporting cast are good. And if a show is really nice, one definitely feels sad for its ending...

I can understand what you feel... But I won't comment on Nazar as of now cos it has been weeks since I watched any episode.

Besides, I know both of us... Any small comment and we will begin our full fledged discussion as usual... 😆

Right now, I am sticking to watching old episodes of CID in order to bring my mood back to normal which was horribly spoilt after watching a few of those episodes of CID that I hate to the core... And, I must say there were some absolutely funny scenes in several episodes. 😆

Besides, I am watching a few random episodes of Bh2.

Then, I have a collection of books that I received as an advanced birthday gift. To, wo padh rahe hain... And I am really amazed with one of them...

Here they have said schools and colleges won't open until 15th June but no news about us. So I am worried. And there's no proper planning behind lifting the lockdown also. So it's likely majority of us will get infected and a lot of people will die. So all we can do is pray.

Well, the remaining exams of 10th and 12th students have been shifted to July. Plus all the entrance examinations and other stuff too has been postponed to July and August.

There is still no news regarding us. So, even I am worried about that... Pata nahi kya hone wala hai.

Its just that they have released certain guidelines as of now... Each school and college will have to get a thermal scanner installed. Plus a sanitizer dispenser should be at the gates plus at the entrance of the classrooms and halls. Plus a few other guidelines too...

Well, about Nazar, I sm more on a detoxification mode. I am binge watching now so that I get bored and don't feel like watching it anytime soon. 🤪

Why are you watching the spoiled ones? Or they are on-air and auntie is watching it?

Glad to know about your books. I just finished a super interesting episode and want to share it. Commenting separately. 😈

So, the series I am talking about, here the FL is a widow. We have two MLs here. One is her dead husband whom the girl keeps imagining whenever she misses him or is in a fix. The second and prominent one is her boss who has fallen in love with him.

In this particular episode, the boss proposes her directly, without any gimmicks or cliched gesture. And the girl makes it clear that she's not interested. So when she returns home, she imagines her dead husband and he is there with a Kafan Ke Kapde and urges the girl to bury him. Because he had died 8 years ago and the girl needs to bury the memories and move on.

So the girl comes and says he was right, she still loves him like a mad person but he wasn't her love. He was her greed that keeps reminding her how she is still young and has options and move forward. She tells the imagination is not Mitul (Her husband) who wanted what's best for her. It was rather the greedy Nazifa (Herself) that wants to be freed of all the misery. So she'll bury it once and for all.

So she starts draping the cloth and the imagination tells you have gone mad. But you can't bury me. I'll keep haunting you!

Now so many times we see MLs draping saree around FL and it's sometimes comic, sometimes romantic. But this scene, my jaw dropped. The BGM and the way the girl was laughing I was like - what the hell man! Ladki satak gayi! 😲 😲 😲

I can't help but share the link. The entire scene was from 13-17 minute.

But the transition in her smile and when she was draping the cloth, it started from 16.00 minute.

I can understand what you are saying. In fact, I would have done the same if I would have had my headphones with me.

Since I don't have my headphones, I am trying reading books as a method of detoxification. So, that I find other fields of interest and don't feel like watching it anytime soon... Jab headphones mil jayenge, then I'll go on a watching spree to get bored and get detoxified. 😆

Do you really think I'll watch those episodes on my own? They are telecasting episodes randomly. Isiliye, I don't know which episode they are going to telecast. To kabhi-kabhi I tune in and yesterday, I was really unlucky.

Isiliye, I downloaded one of the old episodes... And I really enjoyed that. Especially the mithai scene. 😆

Hmmm... Interesting.

I wish I too had some such interesting episodes to share...

You know what... Right now, I am wishing that I knew Bengali language... Cos I really felt like watching the entire thing...

Honestly, I am really amazed by the entire scene... What a transition!!! Plus the bgm and then the way the girl was laughing... I am in awe.

Had you not told me what happened, my reaction too would have been the same that the girl has gone nuts... 😆

You have watched it already! That's fast! 😲

But seriously yaar! Amazing scene it was and the girl was awesome. I really appreciate the director's vision here. He didn't go overboard with BGM or didn't make it too romantic that the girl would be in denial. She was on point like she acknowledged she had her desire but without the husband, she would keep it buried.

I too wish you knew Bengali because when we understand the language, it become 100000 times more awesome. But one advantage we have, I think Bengali and Hindi are quite similar. That's why those of us who had watched Hindi in our growing years, we can understand enough Hindi to communicate.

The friend I once talked to you about, she could even read and write a little as she was curious and used to google a lot. 😊

Well, I first watched that particular scene which you were telling me about.

Uske baad, I watched the rest...

I agree... The scene was amazing. And so was the director's vision. He did not go overboard in the scene...

Definitely... When we understand a particular language, it makes it much easier to understand something.

Yes, I agree... Hindi and Bengali are quite similar. So, it's not much difficult. In fact, some words in Hindi and Bengali are quite similar...almost same.
