Good morning girls and boys !

To all of you my friends, Eid ki bahut, bahut mubarak❤️Hope you all have a peaceful, healthy and happy year ahead.

Here I am after watching this show from my YouTube recommendations👍🏼

In a nutshell, I loved the show for its sincerity👍🏼, even though when I look at the whole premise, it looks like a lot of fluff. I understand that no haughty dad like Iqbal would have married off his daughter to a "mulazim"😒 as they continue to refer to Badar as. From what I know of desi dads ( both sides of the border ) such as Iqbal, they would probably make a guy like Badar " go away" to protect their honor rather than marry off their daughter to the very same guy. Sad reality, but true😭But, at any rate, I am going to go with this premise, which is much better than reality😃

Here are my observations, loved both the leads. Hated some characters, most characters didn't really deserve a mention. Here are the two most detested characters in this order.

Sameer: Urrggghhhh😡I hated this character with all my heart and soul. It is as if I had some zyadti dushmani hain iss se🤔Don't ask me why, but from the get go, I couldn't warm up to the guy. May be I don't like KMH in general. In the beginning, I felt that he was aping Hrithik Roshan trying out his facial expressions. I may be totally wrong, but that was my perception and I don't like it when people try to imitate others. Call me a highly opinionated nut😳From then on, he is a crying, moping wimp of a human being who was intolerable for me. You just find out that the girl whom you were planning to elope with is caught and is married off to another alleged perpetrator. If he is man enough, he should have entered into that haveli and told that stupid dad and uncle the truth. Kam se kam, their daughter would have been spared of the anger and discrimination from that family. So, yeh kya karta instead, he is angry ( ???? on who ) and runs into an accident. Then, he puts on listening ears and goes away abroad, leisurely mopes around and when the moping and self pity is not enough, he tries to get another chance with the girl. This time, not even hesitating to disturb her steady state😡Disgusting to the core🤬As much as I wanted Gaiti to let Badar know of harassment from this guy, I kind of liked the lashing she gave him👏 about his stupid blackmail. Call me sadistic. His incessant calling made me furious. The guy has the gall to tell her that " Gaiti deserves somebody better than Badar"😡If only this dude knew what all Badar did to her while he is moping around and trying to find peace of mind for himself. One's character gets revealed when they are put through testing times, right? Whether dat kar samna karein👍🏼 or buzdili se bhaag jayein 👎🏼makes or breaks a person. Finally, he came back to deliver what he thought is a " death blow" 🤣to Badar. In your dreams dude, is my reaction to that. Yeh kaisa greatness hain ki, when Badar or his bhabhi were blabbering nonsense about Gaiti and her lack of integrity, he listened patiently, tried to assimilate it all, gave it ample thought without as much as a protest and when he figured that he is humiliated by Gaiti choosing Badar over him, his conscience wakes up to now "defend Gaiti" 😡Bahut khoob😡👎🏼🤢But why does he say that Gaiti's character assassination by Badar had barbadified Gaiti and his lifeHow and when the hell did that happen? I thought he didn't pay much attention to those statements at the time and still tried to elope with her? And it is pure coincidence that Gaiti's life took an unexpected turn and not because of ratting by Badar. Am I missing something? Or, was he buying time to think about it some more when he offered to drop her off with her mom after eloping. I am now confused thoroughly. Girls, if any of you understood this guy's statement, share the wisdom with me. DETESTED THE GUY🤢

Next up, I detested the mom, Jahan Ara. She just got to know of her daughter, didn't even get to know of all the dire conditions imposed by his father and how Badar had stood by her through thick and thin. She decides her daughter deserves better than Badar and imposes yet another order on her. This lady is a bad example of a mother, who couldn't appreciate another mother who took care of her precious daughter during her growing years, or how she shielded the daughter from the father's wrath. Or how she couldn't appreciate Badar's generosity, his care, affection and security while the said daughter is dragged on to the roads with no roof on her head, no clothing or food. What good is it if she and Iqbal have all the money in the world ? How the hell does she get to make decisions about forging a life changing document? 🤢I had no sympathy for this woman. Whatever sympathy I had simply vanished when she made the decision on behalf of her daughter. How is she better than the tyrannical dad? 😡

Next up about the leads.......Please do not hesitate to drop in your thoughts. Kya pata, meri galatfeymi's door ho jayenge on certain people🤔

Sameer jaisa badkismat nahi dekha maine 😔

Although I loved this drama and shipped Badar-Gaiti too but sometimes found badar very irritating😵

For me, the best part of this show was the relationship between gaiti and her step mother❤️

Loved some characters for their pure goodness, Gaiti's mother Nafeesa whom I consider is her real mother, Badar's younger sister, the innocent girl who is in awe with her bhabhi and Badar's dad👏 who has a big heart to understand Gaiti's predicament from the get go.

I liked Badar's mother too, she is more of a realistic, pragmatic woman who saw things as they are and reacted to circumstances. But whatever she said may be bitter but stark truth for the most part.🤓 I wouldn't blame her if she agonized about her children, whether it is the evil Rania or Badar breaking in front of her eyes. Why should she be the mahaan and " understand" Gaiti ? She saw Gaiti initially as a insolent, badtameez boor who cared nothing about her son or his family. She didn't tolerate Gaiti's highhandedness or her uppity attitude, which seems to be reasonable. But as she saw Gaiti softening towards her son, she softened up too. I didn't find anything to blame her in the whole show👍🏼. The actress is phenomenal on her natural portrayal of a tormented and concerned mother.

I didn't quite understand both the phuppos characters and what they wanted. They simply wanted both of their brothers and their families to be barbadified. But why? I will leave it at that.

Gaiti, I like this actress. She is very cute, I liked her in Yakeen ka safar. I think she did an amazing act in this show.

However much I might want her to be with Badar, her initial reactions of being married to a manager guy are very understandable👍🏼The writer deserves applause to painstakingly take me on a journey with Gaiti from feeling repulsed getting married to a manager guy to being habituated to having Badar around to take care of all of her needs without ever having to open her mouth at her beck and call to actually seeing the goodness of his heart to falling in love with him to the point of not being able to live without him is so logically drawn out. Kudos to the writer👏 for having Gaiti take her sweet time and not magically start loving him because he is the " hero"who fought off evils like our typical Indian bollywood movies.

She is the immature, happy go lucky young girl who tried to sweep her father's nafrat under the rug and fulfill that void with material things. Her reactions make perfect sense when those material things were denied to her when she is forcibly married to Badar and she is put down as if she means nothing. She held on to the last vestiges of what she thought is her personality by getting short with Badar, whether she says that she can get gussa on Badar but not vice versa or her repeatedly putting him down, his house and surroundings or her shock when Badar retaliates on her. But, you would think that the slow understanding of Badar as a person and his care would have started when she witnessed Badar, a sliver of a guy trying to fight off head on big-bad guys like Jamshed or those gundas employed by him or the other eve teasers on the roads of Karachi. Also, more importantly, the way he stands shielding her from his own family (mother and Rania ) and their wrath. In the process, he gets hit left, right and center with relentless taunts but he bore with it all silently.

I just didn't understand then, Gaiti's neglect of Badar as if he didn't exist when she decides to just leave with her mother. Granted, this is her plan all along, but doesn't he at that point even deserve a dialogue at least as her well wisher, if not her husband? How come she never tried to even contact him and tell him about her well being, especially when she saw first hand how he toiled for her and moved heaven and earth? They should have shown some eye opening moments as she agonized in her mother's home in Karachi being imposed with reckless orders. Badar, the guy from a"lower strata" as she saw him , who seemingly had the rights on her and her life, never imposed his will on her, RATHER went out of his way to fulfill her wishes however impractical they may be. Why did the writer not give this girl this thought process? I also didn't like just like Badar, how she seemed to have softened up to him because he rescued her from being homeless after the mother's death🤢That is how it came across with no introspection from her part till then.

However, I loved her lashing at Sameer dude👏, call me sadistic, I could have taken a lot more than the 5 min lashing. Her making up with her dad is heartwarming. Most loved her relationship with her mom, Nafeesa.

The actress made a good impact.

Give me some time to write about Badar, a character I am impressed with the most. Now I am exhausted😃

Do bol is one of my most favorite serial. The best thing about this serial was the journey of Gaiti and badar. The way the showed the power of Nikkah. Indeed Nikkah k do bol do dilon ko ek kardety hein. Badar is my most favorite character in it. He has flaws but his love for gaiti was so real and pure that it changed gaiti's feeling from mera dhaam ghoota hai tumharey saath badar to gaiti tumharey begair marr jati badar. His feelings were so pure that melted gaiti's heart and made her fell for him.

Badar's younger sister and gaiti's step mother are my two other favorite characters in it. Both of them were so loving and caring. Badar's father was a decent character while her mother was also being a realistic one. Sameer is a unforunate man or he was stupid or dumb.

Anyways i just loved do bol and i really enjoyed watching it.

OK, now about Badar. Pardon my ignorance, I have recently started watching the Pakistani shows. I do not know this actor, at a first glance, I didn't like this actor, he is unimpressive in appearance with the exception of a good voice. Ashamed of myself to have to say this, judging people by physical appearances.

I am blown away by Badar, but more so by this actor who had so convincingly portrayed his role from a worker to a guy who the girl couldn't live without❤️By the middle of the show, he is no longer a physically inept looking guy to me, but a guy who is completely worthy of her. Kudos to the writer and the director who created that slow and realistic transformation for him and especially kudos to the actor who breathed life into the character and made Badar a living, breathing phenomenon👏Amazing.

Loved everything about Badar. The guy is a fighter and I love fighters, even if they fall on their face, as long as they don't give up. The guy simply would go head on into any trouble when it comes to Gaiti, her comfort or her dignity. He tried to give her the same dignity she had at her father's house within his means. He shielded her from his own mother and sister, while he got mocked for doing so all the time. This must be the most difficult thing for any guy in the best of circumstances, even if the wife reciprocates his feelings. Imagine how much cover up he had to do for Gaiti who is explosive, irritated and didn't shy away from showing her disgust at him, his surroundings and his familyOf course, she is immature, but uska family ( his mother ) doesn't need to understand her na? And physically, this guy is half of Zafar, Jamshed or the gundas, but doesn't think twice as he head butts with them. It is truly refreshing to see such immense care and love for a girl which raises his protective instincts for her. For once, the guy is on the receiving end as a "poor guy " from the girl and her family instead of the girl always being blamed as a chaalaq, poor girl with doris on a rich guy👍🏼Thank you for that role reversal.

I could even understand his lies about Gaiti's philandering to Sameer guy. He is desperate, he is trying to lose the Sameer guy👍🏼. He didn't spread them anywhere else. I don't like it, or approve of, but I can understand his point of view if I twist myself. Desperate circumstances lead to desperate measures and this is one of them. He whole-heartedly succumbs himself to all of her humiliation, her anger as if this is a normal thing for her to do and that he is glad he is there to take her fall when she is in difficult circumstances😭. My heart went out for this guy, who wishes for her well being despite all that she doles out for him, bilkul saaf dil se🤗

The only part I didn't like is in the last few episodes, the writer confused me with his shak wali actions- listening to her phone calls, or probing her about her phone calls and explanation about Sameer and her in the photograph👎🏼Of all the people, he should know that Gaiti is not a person who would shy away from telling him what is on her mind. She may or may not be forthcoming with others, but with Badar, she would have🤔He got the bitter truth from her always. I think if he only focused on if this true love for Badar or is she warming up because he was there for her when she was besahara on the roads would have been a treat to watch👍🏼.Instead, the writer made him into a confusing mess, an average mard with shak. Why? This guy who knew everything about her history didn't shakfy on her at anytime. So, why now?

My heart is so full watching this show. Can I also rave about that background song🤗It is so soulful.

Those of you who watched, please let me know your thoughts. I understand, I may be late to the party. For those who haven't I highly recommend watching this , stress free, pure and authentic wale feelings which we don't see as much these days❤️

Girls, please give me some suggestions of intense shows like this. But, I can't take tragedies and sad endings. Pakistani shows are breaking my heart in the end, if I am not careful and selective. YouTube recommendations are good but I have to do investigate before I commit myself😃

Thanks my friend, is this another show? BTW, I am Mili.

I didn't perceive Sameer as an unfortunate guy, but more of a guy who took time to react, weighed his pros and cons, even when she was in neck deep of trouble. He couldn't bear his perceived humiliation of Gaiti choosing to stay with Badar, uske anaa ko bahut thes pahunchi and so he went for the kill. Eenie, meanie, mynie, moe doesn't cut it na, when lives are in danger🤔I may be wrong, but simply couldn't stand the guy at anytime during the show😎Kya karun!!!!

Thank you Nina. Ditto, ditto. Oh ! Do bol is about Nikkah😲I didn't even get it even though I loved the show and just wrote a book on this forum.

Agree completely about Gaiti and Badar🤗These two need to be bubble wrapped and put away.

BTW, I forgot to mention I also liked Lateef, the witty guy, such a gem of a friend with great advice. Especially, where he warns Badar not to take advantage of his position as the husband, the guy had my heart❤️

Please give me some suggestions for good shows my friend, intense love stories ( cheezy bhi chalta hain ), but no sad endings. Prefer if the shows are finished, so I don't have to walk around like a ticking time bomb waiting for next episodes etc. 😃

I loved reading these analysis on Do Bol. I can read about Gaiti and Badar for the rest of my life without feeling bored. They are my favorite couple, and I can't remember how many times I rewatched their scenes.

Waiting for your take on Badar .😉
