Based on the reviews I contemplated watching Patal lok, pan tya aadhi trailor pahila,,was so disappointed,,typical webseries, too much crude language and bed scenes...don't these webseries have any censorship rules applicable or Net pe hain toh sab chalta hain kya??
Anyways m hooked to Mahabharat on Colors tv and my childhood crush 😍 Krishna aka Nitish Bharadwaj.
they planned to bring webseries under censor but there is stiff opposition from film makers. They feel their freedom is restricted and so does creativity. So government is not pushing hard on that front. I think web-series makers thinks that it is a license for them to show unrestricted violence and adult content. They have forgotten that kids too can have access to this kind of content. How can you have adult content and kids content on the same website ? I was shocked to see this on alt balaji website . This is the case for all OTT platforms.

It is time to regulate webseries for violent and adult content . Freedom of expression is not absolute in Indian constitution. Even the mightiest in India, including the President is subject to these restrictions.
Why do these creators think that they are above the constitution ?
All OTT platform content including Amazon, Netflix and others should be regulated. The regulator needs to move before things get out of hand.

yes,definately,i watched mahabharat on ddordarshan which went off of this 13th may,even i watched ramayan also.and these 2 were topping trp chart in lockdown when telecasted.
even i watched trishna on i tube and off course kashish which recently was uploaded on u tube ,only 8 episodes love story bt still had a great imapct,sudesh beri,malvika tiwari ,enjoyed a lot watching all these actors.
yes absolutely , I was also wondering why they keep repeating latest serials instead of showing old ones - there are so many like asambhav, vaadalvat , and so on but they are hell bent on showing sambhaji, Aggabai, tpr etc. While DD has rightly adopted the strategy of coming out with old serials.Originally posted by: kamalsh56

Absolutely... I too was shocked on seeing two horrible flicks on Netflix .. 1. Garbage and 2. Jaaon kahan bataye dil.... I mean such pathetic, depressing and dark movies... Anything under the garb of abstract cinema n freedom of expression, they have now started to push the conventional standards and limits of tolerance and decency to absurd limits ...Both movies neither carry any message nor are of any value except for poor distasteful sexual (mis)adventures for the heck of it ....Originally posted by: surajhere

Yes and At the same time I sincerely feel they must telecast those serials which are not available on you tube or Dailymotion .... Serials like chaal navachee vachal vastee , zopee gelela.jaga zala....I ve searched for these two serials for over past two decades with every dvd shop and on the www but they are not available...DD would do a great service if they telecast such old serials...
