Yes yes for sure , abir has that willingness to face things heads on but since his character is supposed to be empathetic and sometimes overthinking, that attitude can sometimes be misinterpreted as his unwillingness to face things ....

Indirect approach in a way , see once he realised that mishti still loves him and isn't willingly going to marry nishant, instead of getting the idea of sharing the break up story with mishti, he went the other way around to ask nishant to back out ...he wanted those 5 mins with mishti to explain the things to her but I doubt even if he wasn't under meenu's pressure to marry that another girl n all , was he ready to share the real reason behind break up ? Because that realisation came when parul made him understand ( the temple scene) that how important it is for mishti to know the truth , for sure abir didn't want to share it because he felt it would be an excuse from his side to bring mishti back in his life .....so haan this approach was indirect for me , kind of

BM toh straight-out emotional blackmail kar rahi thi tab. I think at the time she was just thinking of Naman and what society would think of Mishti (every mom's concern) and she got mixed up in all that. Agree with you on Mishti sharing everything with BM also, and you need such a person in your life. Agree also that she should share about Kuhu but see my reasoning above as to why I think she doesn't. I also like the advice she gives Mishti. I'm curious as to the doormat theory - will wait for Rashi to elaborate.

Haan this explains mishti's thought process in a better way daya 😳 , mishti already feels ( or I would say made to believe ) her presence wasn't needed in mahs house and so at least with badi ma she tries not to trouble her much , at least not cause trouble to those who whole heartedly accepted her ( BM and BP ) but I still believe like abir said " pyaar and ehsaan mein farak karna aana chahie " ...... I know its easier said than done and completely understand mishti but she should be a little frank with BM in relation to kuhu and the struggles

Haan I agree, when BM was overreacting, it was BP who gave her a sane advice and vice versa , they really maintain a good balance
