But, on the other hand I've had some really good professors who provide so many resources because they want to see us LEARN and academically succeed. These professors are always available for office hours or over email. So, when students do bad in these type of classes, they aren't trying hard enough because you have all the resources and a prof who is willing to help but you have to reach out because they have 1000+ students.

LOL it's been three years since I took that class and now all of a sudden I feel like I'm in that class again and I have an exam tomorrow. College is simultaneously the best and the worst time in your life.

that's true but it was more like we got to take relevant courses rather than unnecessary ones like electives & college required ones that were unrelated to the majors...

they had different profs teaching that class later...it was advanced organic chemistry so they wouldn't get rid of the class. But, I think the setup of the class was messed up too because almost 3 other profs were bad at teaching that class then they had a prof from the teaching faculty teach the class and voila! Students were doing great in the class...my sister took the class that semester

I've felt that junior and senior years were best...

Freshman year was rough but that was my fault. I had a lot of independence all of a sudden and didn't take school seriously...social life was great though

Sophomore year I got my life together and re-evaluated what I wanted in life. Studied hard and focused and it was my best year!

Junior year was the worst for me. I became overly ambitious after a really successful sophomore year so I took multiple challenging classes together and no matter how hard I studied, I ended up just so stressed out and tired

Senior year figured out life again...not as successful as sophomore year but I balanced everything while still taking hard classes but I felt more mentally relaxed even though life after graduation terrified me because I didn't know what I was going to do

I ended up taking a gap year and honestly...I haven't felt this happy and relaxed in years. I think it will help me perform better when I go back to school rather than if I had jumped directly in because I feel more refreshed now but also I'm scared that what if I forgot how to study 😆

^LOL I just wrapped up my whole life in a paragraph 🤣

yeah but there's politics over there too...the whole bureaucracy also starts too unless the issue is extremely serious then the student should unanimously report firing the professor ...if the university is considerate then they'll investigate the matter otherwise then there's politics within the system too..

I took a class called scientific revolution for one of my gen-eds...it was so boring and all busy work! It was a super weird class. Although I liked some on my liberal arts courses like a literature class I took that focused on novels written by second-generation authors. I think I liked it because I could relate to it.

another thing if these guys are just academic faculty.............if they can't bring grants....they have to go...........ooops.........universities forget the value of the word tenure............if you're clinical faculty anyway the authority makes good usage of you so not to worry but they won't teach undergrad though

All my bad profs were clinical faculty 😆 you could tell they didn't have an interest in teaching because that's not what they signed up for and the university was forcing them. The academic faculty was awesome though...they were the profs I mentioned earlier who actually cared and were available.

usually universities send out surveys about reviewing the professors' teachings but i particularly feel that they are useless otherwise i wouldn't be seeing so many students criticize the professor...again it depends on how the university handles it but in my case, I've seen them as particularly useless...either you like the professor or don't ...students developed their own methods of learning and the professor takes credit despite teaching like an idiot..
