Almost every actor today, their dance, expression, they way they speak. Too many practice and it shows
Unfortunate, but so true! Especially after you have seen someone like Sridevi in English Vinglish, that silent no-dialogue acting through the eyes. The way she can change expressions within a scene and still make you connect (without needing jarring background score like Ekta or Kjo tend to use for their tv/movie actors). Or even Amitabh Bachchan in Sholay, he was so good even in the silent scenes when someone else was in the spotlight. You must be really good if you can stand out despite some other amazing actors in the same frame. The way they say their lines...
Most actors if you notice closely have only one expression in 1 scene. They end up doing a second scene, just carrying that second expression throughout. That's usually one of the first things that catches my eye. The second is their body language, most of them carry themselves the same way in each movie...these days, the only body language you see in actors is the 'look at my six packs/sexy body after I put in 2 months of efforts at the gym'.
Very rare to see an actor to actually adopt a character in their movie, like Kangana did in TWMR, her Tanu character was a bit too loud, jarring in dialogue delivery for my taste, but Dattoo was pitch perfect. But then dialogue delivery and voice modulation for most actors is just so bad.
I kinda blame KJo and Ekta for this new trend of actors who are so inpalatable. If you see SRK in Baazigar, he was so good.
