90's: Kajol, Karisma, Raveena, Urmila, Manisha, Rani, Preity etc.

2000's: Kareena, Katrina, Priyanka, Deepika, Kangana, Vidya, Anushka

2010's: Sonakshi, Parineeti, Alia, Ileana, Kriti, Taapsee, Sara etc.

Choose only 1 decade.

90s debutantes were talented, but sadly they never got the opportunities/roles they deserved, apart from some exceptions.

2010s onward debutantes have all the opportunities, but sadly they lack talent/charisma, barring a few.

I would say 2000s debutantes (mentioned above) are perhaps the luckiest lot of Bollywood actresses, as most of them are still going strong. Not only they are talented, they've also gotten several opportunities to showcase their strengths over the years.👏

2000s debutantes got the best of both worlds- they had talent and got the opportunities to showcase it. Perfect balance of talent and glamour.

Those whose debuted in 2000s were pretty good. They not only looked good but also acted quiet well

2000’s debutantes. They paved the way for the next generation. Some of these actresses have Sustained for years and years and took no for an answer in terms of what they are supposed to be like or what they are expected to be like. Women oriented or content oriented films pulling in big numbers began with these actresses.
Today. We have talent and people who are capable of living up to these standards that previous actresses have helped to set. But corrupt by the amount of nepotism and favoritism. Today it’s the best time for actresses, but we have failed as an industry to recognize talent. I get why anushka sharma feels the need to produce films today for unrecognized talent. She’s another actress who gets trolled for being done for (which she isn’t because her acting right now is her choice),..she is the one who is creating opportunisties and following her own rule book, the spirit that many 2000 debutantes have

True, but outsiders also lack the same charisma nowadays. It's disheartening, but the quality has gone down.

it’s sad that everything that actresses in the previous decade have achieved is not translated to how new talent is treated today in terms of opportunity. I’m not being biased but To me, most of the contamination In the industry is a result of average star kids getting noble treatment, and others who are capable getting sidelined. Like the previous decade, outsiders have to work 3x as hard and it’s the same today. So although it’s not an outsider vs insider thing in terms of who is capable of being talented and acting well, outsiders are almost always the ones prevented from showing potential. In terms of equality in opportunity, it’s not there despite most the actresses in the previous decade being outsiders.
You get charismatic talent when you start equalizing opportunity. An insider can still be more charismatic than an outsider, no doubt. But with our history, most outsiders have proven to be more capable.
