She was a number 1. Majority of people will say she was, and in fact past records will prove that she was number 1 BO wise. I’m not really sure what makes your conclusion that she wasn’t a number 1 valid?

Yes, she was. Her prime was something else, and was in fact considered number 1 in terms of BO and dominated those years.
2013 was when deepika carried the official number 1 tag after successive hits

I think we are answering for two different things here. Are we going for successful or #1 actress?

We can't talk about #1 actress without mentioning actresses who did so well with their acting in movies that people deemed them the best actresses of the time. People like Vidya or Kangana. Especially Vidya. The popularity successful or box office success is sort of different than that. That has more to do with visibility, box office number, number of brands they had, these days social media followers etc.

I think I mean to ask who is most successful to you regardless of whether they were considered a number 1 or not. It’s your opinion on who is most successful from the four options I gave as all are successful but have had different journeys with some being tagged as an official number 1 while others may have not. As well as your opinion on what classifies a successful actress which is what you just said

It's starting to look like Kareena had the most successful Bollywood Career of them all.

Priyanka though is killing it overall.

I think Deepika is a serious contender for all time top 10 in terms of popularity+success+ impact.

Priyanka while very successful, her BW career isn't top 10 level. But popularity wise, world wide she is up there with Aish, and in India, she is no less popular than anyone.

Kareena is an industry kid, and her success was inevitable, and she has carved herself a rather successful career, while her peak was nowhere near the other three in the list(no matter how much Rekhaji try to push the narrative that she was numero uno during the late 00s and early 10s😆) in terms of popularity, but she has a very successful career although she also got more chances than anyone in this list despite having an embarrassing start.

Katrina is a peculiar one, popularity wise, she is second to none. Her peak years despite her doing fcuk all in terms of actual acting performances apart from few semi-decent works in New York/Rajneeti/MBKD/ZMND so on, had her giving hits after hits whether with big guns or new boys. She was the go to A lister for the biggest Bollywood company(YRF), since most of the new age actresses have refused to work in male dominated movies. She is called the most popular or second most popular actress of her era(alongside Deepika) by almost every media outlet, fan votings and critics. She is in bottom of almost every acting skills related lists, but as the female star of her generation she is the top 2 at least alongside Deepika, if not more.
