Minni was busy in stalking out Neil's profile and checking his photographs out when a message popped up on her notification bar.
It was of Neil.
Neil: i thought i atleast deserve a thank you.
Mini: For what?
Neil: i thought god has atleast gifted you a little brain.
Mini: why you think so much😁
Neil: huh!
Mini: fine! Thank you for eve.😊
Neil: that's it?
Mini: for returning the Diary too😊
Neil: and?
Mini: ummm....for being good too.😉
Neil: well, I'm also a good kisser. Am i not?
Mini: what do you actually wanna hear Neil.?
Neil: yes! Duh..
Mini: well I'm not answering such stupid questions.
Neil: u are just at denial.

Thousands of butterflies drove away in Mini's stomach at his message. She thought of various ways to say a yes without showing her enthusiasm and intidimacy. Finally she replied.
Mini: well if you're insisting so much ....then i can consider it.
She mentally patted her shoulders on this reply.
Neil: hahaha...
Fine then tomorrow 5pm.

Mini: okay.
The next day in the office Mini could hardly concentrate on her work. Even now and then she kept looking at her watch and Neil's cabin.
But neither he came out nor the hands of the clock moved faster.
Preet could clearly see her restlessness after asking and teasing Mini enormous times she finally blurted out about the date to Preet.
"A Date? like a proper , official, let's go for a eve out together and then back to my place kind of date?, " Squeals Preet.
Mini's face aches , her throat from talking and lips from smiling at Preet's interrogations.
Though Mini didn't utter everything like every little freaking miniscule detail yet Preet seemed quite happy to her at fact that Neil and she are dating.
"Umm...yeah. i guess", Mini laughed.
" Although not all dates end in back to my place", Preet teased.
Mini didn't wanted to talk much more. She felt selfish enough as it is, blabbing on her life as though it was a soap opera.
Plus, har constant insistence on knowing everything began to get on her nerves.
Brushing her thoughts aside she just answered "I don't know", and smiled back.
Suddenly she caught a glimpse of Neil. He too looked at her and winked. She blushed buried her head down.
Evening arrived. She panicked again over what to wear and how to style her hair, eventually opting for a completely overemphasized look that does not suit her personality a bit. Grunting with fraustration, she let her hair loose, scrub at her plastic face and reapply only the barest foundation, blush and mascara. Then changed into a tight blue dress completing above her knee.
Better.
"I'm in over my head with all this date stuff", she muttered to herself.
Almost on cue, her phone rang. It was Neil. She looked out of her window. It was Neil in his black car.
A wave of millions of feelings at once surfed through her stomach.
Her mind just blanked out.
She quickly ran downstairs and stepped out of the doorframe and grinned, incredibly glad that she opted to change her clothes.
Neil had obviously put some thought into his outfit. He looked hot in a translucent white shirt that showed his muscles and a pair of loose blue jeans but his cheeky smile makes him seem casual also, like he doesn't want to scare Mini too much with formality.
Mini came closer to him and as he reached his car he held her hand softly and placed a soft feather like kiss on it. Mini shivered.
"Mini, her murmured, ""you look stunning", he complimented as he opened the door to allow her to climb in. Mini first stepped into the car followed by Neil who took the driver's seat.
"Thanks", she blushed and then decided to tease him to lighten the mood. "I'd have said the same to you, ofcourse, but...."
Mini looked him up and down with her eyebrows raised, faking horror.
Neil laughed .
"Complete your words m/s Mini"..
he grinned.
Mini gulped hard.
"Am I not good?" Neil asked as he brought his hands towards hers and entwined his fingers with hers.
Butterflies whirl within her stomach.
"Am I not?", He asked again looking straight into her eyes.
"No... ofcourse...i mean you are good", she stammered.
Neil laughed.
"Really?", Neil asked raising his eyebrows up.
Mini could see mischief in his eyes.
"Don't act oversmart", she said as she blushed and held his hand tighter.
Neil laughed at her antics and she looked away into the window.
They sat back with linking their hands in the space between them until they reached the movie theatre.

As soon as they were Driving the debate begigo
"So what movie you want to see?", Asked Neil.
"No idea...", Mini replied... I don't even know what's on. This was a kind of last minute thing. Wasn't it."
They laughed, smiling.
After a moment of silence they both took a deep breath and said at the same time
"I know this is a date but..."
Hearing each other's voices to the same words made them laugh.
Both of them stopped hesitant to continue..
"Go on", Neil said.
Mini wring her hands in her lap nervously and hoped for the best.
"I really don't want to have sit through one of those crappy actions ", Mini admitted.
Neil raises his eyebrows and then laughed. Mini saw a smile in his eyes." I must there is some telepathy between us. You know about to say the same."
Mini blushed at his comment and then sighed in relief.
So it is decided. Neither of them favours action movies, which leaves them with a narrower collection of choices.
The car pulled back and they both got off it.
And after scanning through the showing list they ended up selecting an rom-horror.
Though Neil had suggested for a thriller but he couldn't help Mini's insistence on a horror movie.
"Fine! Only if you won't get scared", asked Neil.
"I'm not a kid. I m very brave", replied Mini.
"Really?", Asked Neil.
"Ofcourse. In case if you are scared then we can change", teased Mini looking in the air.
"Comeon. Don't kid yourself", commanded Neil.
Mini just laughed and held his hand in hers.
Neil looked at her lovingly ans somewhat in amusement at her outrageous behaviour.
Mini wrapped her hand around his arms and then left for the theatre.
"Mini"' his face lits up as the big screen bursts to life, the light kept dancing over his features and making him seen ethereal. He holds out a hand to Mini and she takes it, letting him pull her to the back of the seat of the theatre and watch as he spreads his arms wide.
As the movie proceeded, Neil kept laughing at those horror scenes while Mini quickly closes her eyes and began chanting her prayers. These antics of her made Neil laugh harder to which Mini just gave an cold reaction. Neil laughed out loud.
Suddenly a scene prompted up on the screen where the ghost seemed to come out of the screen.
Mini quickly turned to Neil buried her head in his shirt and hugged him tightly.
Neil hugged her back and ket rubbing her shoulder lightly. And once she got her senses back she looked up at Neil whose eyes were already sticked on hers.
"Are u alright? U wanna leave?", Neil asked in genuine concern.
Mini just nodded her head vertically.
Until the movie got completely over, they kept their hands entwined tightly.
Finally they left the theatre and climbed onto the car again.
Neil noticed Mini still engrossed in her thoughts.
"Comeon your ghost is not coming here. ", Said Neil trying to cheer her up.
"Who knows", said Mini and looked away.
"I know", Neil answered.
"How"
"Because I m here", said Neil smiling.
Mini smiled back.
They finally reached a restaurant where Neil had already made arrangements.
A couple of men in black approached to them.
Neil first got out off the car and then moved towards Mini's side.
He opened the door for her and extends out his hand. Mini held his hand back and climbed off the car too. The men took them the hotel and then to their reserved placed and handed over the menu to them.
Mini dancing eyes began wandering over the hotel. It was lavishly furnished and decorated. Mini loved the aroma the lighted candles were gifting the peaceful atmosphere the dim lights were creating. She was loving it all in the company of Neil.
Mini took the menu in her hands and then quickly turned it off.
"Make an order", asked Neil politely.
"No..no.
I'll go with you this time", said Mini still horrified at the movie.
Neil just laughed at her antics and then placed the order.
"By the way... I loved that ghost. From next time we'll watch horror only", teased Neil.
Mini gulped hard.
She became horrified even at this thought.
"No...will go with thrills of your choice", said Mini.
Neil just laughed.
While Mini just gave him a angry look.
Suddenly they both noticed the mention of the word 'next time' and both looked at each other. Both can clearly see a smile at each others eyes.
They had dinner while looking at each other's oceanic deep eyes. They both were just lost in that moment.
Mini was wondering of the ways to stay longer there with Neil. She didn't wanted this time to get over when Neil finally said.
"Wanna go for walk", he asked.
Mini thought for a bit and took a while wondering in air , maybe to hide her enthusiasm for the idea from Neil.
"Well I can consider it", she finally said.
Neil just smiled .
They walked to a nearby park with their hands entwined.
They walked a bit while talking about several stuffs including office, Mickey and Preet, about their last party, about Neil and other different stuffs while Neil kept teasing for the movie and Mini kept giving him angry childlike look.
When Neil turned
towards , wrapped his waist. Mini's heart throbbed while Neil kept with her hair strands. He looked straight into her eyes.
Mini's mind blanked out. She got lost in his deep magnetic black eyes.
"Time for my reward", grinned Neil.
"What?", Murmured Mini as she encircled her hands around his neck.
"Don't act as if you don't know date rules?"
Whispered Neil as he leaned forward towards her. But Mini brought her hands in front of her lips to stop him.
"Date has not ended yet", .Mini whispered to his ears..."" U will be rewarded later"
Neil sighed.
"I expect u would play fair", he whispered back.
She just smiled.
MiNeil climbed onto the car back and finally reached Mini's place.
Neil climbed off the car followed by Neil.
"Thanks for the eve", said Mini.
"Thanks to you for making it special.", Smiled Neil.
Mini smiled back.
None of them were willing to go.
"Will you be able to sleep with you ghost all 'alone', Neil teased grinning.
Mini just gave puppy face.
"Or should I come in", he flirted.
Mini just elbowed him .
'NO', she answered while stressing on the word.
She then turned back to go.
But Neil held her hand and pulled her towards him.
She sighed. Her heart began throbbing harder.
"Play fair m/s Mini", he whispered as he came closer to her and slides his hand over her waist. Mini looked away shyly.
Mini came closer to him , looked straight into his eyes and cupped his face. Neil closed his eyes in anticipation.
"Who said I'm fair player" Mini whispered to his ears as she freed herself from his clutches and ran towards her doorframe.
Neil just smiled at her antic.
Mini turned back and winked at him. She gave a delighted smile and got inside the house leaving Neil smiling behind.
