She was touted to be the next big thing by the social media warriors, but nah, she fell short. She is already 31, and hasn't had any major success as a solo movie star. So yeah she isn't a success story, survival story? Yeah, but a success no.

I am not sure I agree with that. But I see your perspective. I feel she acheived success already espeically in her early films. Not huge success, but success. As a solo artist, I am not sure what you mean of that because even the likes of deepika hadnt done Piku till her late 20's, Priyanka did mary kom in her 30's. I consider her more in a low, down phase. with future success on the basis of her upcoming filmography being very attainable, but also a high possibility of it not as the future cannot be predicted and she is more likely to flop than bring in numbers due to past records.

Ayushmann khurrana is a male actor but he is a prime example of what instant success looks like after being considered unsuccessful. It is very hard to accomplish, but it is doable.

I dont find age to be a hinderance but thats just my opinion.

Issue with Parineeti besides been in bubbly roles mostly is :

She is way too plain jain looking

No starry aura

No striking screen presence

These things matters a lot besides just performance.

i personally think Vidhya is very overrated. She is a great actress but not to the extent people are praising her of.

About Pari, well she was over hyped in her debut and this happens a lot. But the reason she didn't do well is mostly because of lack of hits. However, I feel she can bounce back. Graph changes all the time.

Sounds harsh but I agree. She has screen presence but Indian audience is still about the looks, especially for females. Having said that, Pari can do well if her next movies do well because hits also matter.

No, she is one tone actress, would’ve gone bust sooner or later.

I understand, people find it hard to accept transition from lead roles to supportive roles. But if some actors and actresses accept this harsh reality, they can get more opportunities. It is better than waiting till eternity for that one film which may change their career.

It is better for people like Abhishek Bacchan or Parineeti to accept it and move on. It is not like they had enjoyed stardom for long (that they find it difficult to let it go). They still have acting talent in them to make even a side character shine. Better to take the route of Tabu. (She did not last long as a main lead in mainstream movies).

But she is not doing bubbly roles in her lineup. I wouldnt be trying to make her relevent if her lineup isnt promising. If she wasnt choosing good roles , screw that..I would not say she had a chance.

Theres so many bad looking actresses doing well. Take alia. She's probably the worst looking actress out there! how is she doing well? Besides her choices. ITs all about content. She would not survivie w/o top notch films.
