She lost focus, simple as that. She got distracted by physique and looks and foregoed some great roles to get inot shape. And she still has a chance to recover her career but there's so many newbies out now that it might be harder.

Parineeti could have been the next big thing. She was so spontaneous and natural in her first films Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Ishaqzaade. Both characters were confident, impulsive but were willing to stand by their choices and work hard by fair or foul means to reach their objective. But it would take a miracle for her to catch up to Alia now. Her upcoming projects do not give me much confidence. Yet another biopic on yet another sportswoman. It was novel when Priyanka did it. But it's been done to death. And Girl on a train is yet another female lead project. And the subject is too American. What Pari needs to balance these two is a typical mainstream movie with a bankable male co-star.One which has a sizeable role for her. Not another Kesari or Golmaal.
I dont think it would take a miracle at all. But I agree that what she lacks is choices. Her ability to balance mainstream commerical cinema as well as content oriented films. She also struggles pulling in an audience it seems. But never say never..I wouldnt call anything a miracle in BW. We've seen people come out of no where and attain success.
Parineeti sucks, it is a good thing she never succeeded.

What makes you think she never succeeded? where do you get that idea from?

I think she's the third best actress after Kangana and Vidya.
And as for my favourites, she's 4'th after Deepika, Ileana, Yami.
But you and I often don't see eye to eye😆

Other than scripts what went wrong is she trying to act in a "filmy"

I quite like her as well.
But on another other note...theres nothing to see eye to eye. when an opinion is coming from personal hate issues rather than a real reasoning as to why this person sucks...? lol
Also people be talking about success on here as if they have achieved half as much as the people they are calling unsuccessful.

Reality of the situation
not really.
depends on what you classify as successful. everyone has their own definitions.
she is successful to me.
also just a point-you cant call a person UNsuccessful when a journey is still in route. Ive never heard that ever. Her career is very much in route. and if this were the case, people would never dream and have goals in life. dont yout think?
