It was mocked in the 90’s a lot due to extreme level of stupidity shown. I don’t think it’s as mocked today. I know lots of people who are not Indian who love Bollywood.

India as a country is mocked too, I don’t see anyone getting upset about that?

Can’t speak for all south movies (Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam etc.) but Telugu yeah definitely.....we have good fantasy/historical movies, but you’re average action or comedy Hindi movie would be way ahead of your average Telugu one in plot, acting and pretty much everything....

Not that there aren’t exceptions though 🤷🏽‍♀️

They don’t matter though - I’ve never heard of these films that you referenced. Most people haven’t and most people won’t lol.... as I said nobody cares about these films. Even Bahubali was a fluke

I agree with everything you wrote. I usually reserve this gif for special people but

i watched few south india movies commercial they are good better than hindi pot boilers of today too

many movies you watch today are taken from south only singham, simbaa, drishyam, bhool bhulaya, nayak, sathiya, ghajini, tere naam, housefull, swades, kabir singh, bhaagi2, etc force, bodygaurd, wanted almost all salman movies in last 15 years are south remakes only.

if south india was so bad why so many movies would be remade by bollywood?

south also wins max national awards always from before only

Salmans flop career became hit because of remake south movies

same for akshay and shahid etc all flop turn to south to remake for success in career

Bahubhali too is remake or dubbed only and so is sahoo

i think bollywood copy max south movies, more are there just that ppl before did not bother about copyright etc otherwise many are there

dubbng is bad in movie channels on tv thats why it looks bad, dialogues written are horrible and change original meaning only many times

music in south is also much better than hindi - many songs are copied from south only tunes
