After MJ shoots Maya, the show took 3 days leap, in these 3 days, a guy named Vikram took Maya to her house and in the flashbacks it's shown that when Maya was thrown off the cliff, he saved her and they got married and he named her Maya Jaisingh, she ran away and he is here to take revenge. Maybe he messed up her meds so she has lost her memory and he is torturing Nandini and tried to molest Maya too into sleeping with him
