Even with all the announcements, there are crazy ignorant people all around who are going out even if they are not well, as they are young and not likely to be much affected by the virus. Without any care that they might infect others for whom the virus can be fatal.

So guys even if you are young, fit and awesome, stay the damn away from people who are old and kids, even if you are slightly ill. And stay hygienic ( like one should, always).

Major events have been thankfully cancelled here.

Dts basically the scenario everywhere. There will always be people who will panic and go to extremes and den there will be people who take it all too lightly.

Here too educational institutions and it firms hv been shut for the time being . Travel restrictions hv been imposed. Visas are being cancelled.

Panic is not going to help. Though it's unavoidable considering the rising death rates. All people can do is take precautions and get yourself checked in case of any suspicious symptoms.....der is absolutely nothing else to do. The fatality rate of the virus is not high. People are recovering too. Let's hope things get better soon.

Meanwhile you take gud care of yourself there. Don't let all these get into your head.

Stay safe. That is all that we can do. Stay home as much as possible.

While I agree that if you are sick you need to stay home and self isolate. If you feel you show symptoms of Covid-19 call the health link and go to the designated area to get tested. This is how it works in Canada. Please do not go to the hospital or the ER cause’ that’s putting even more people’s life at risk because almost everyone in the ER is going to be Immuno-compromised.

But even as I type that I know not everyone has the privilege or liberty of staying home. For many people staying at home means losing pay or losing their work which can mean no rent for the next month or enough food for the family. Then there are those who are homeless and don’t have their basic necessities met. They don’t have the comfort or protection of even 4 walls protecting them. God it doesn’t help that Mother Nature changed her mind from the spring that we were seeing to going right back into a winter wonderland.

As a well off Canadian I’m definitely more privileged and damn lucky I have the means and the facilities necessary to not panic and take care of myself if anything should happen. I worry about the people who don’t have the luxuries I have. The people living in slums, on the streets or in rural places of the world. I haven’t seen a single country roll out an effective program or plan yet. It’s pathetic how unprepared even the most developed countries are for a disease pandemic.

Not sure about what the places in lock down did with their homeless as they are one of the most vulnerable and high risks. I know there is discussions going on in Canada about what to do for them — but I fear it will not be enough. We shouldn’t have homeless people. Medicine Hat is a city in Canada (in Alberta the province (like a state) has erased homelessness. So I know it can be done.

I hate how the media is calling them “Rough Sleepers” in UK and US. It makes people disconnect with the issue and makes it sound trivial as if it’s something as trivial as being a light sleeper. Ugh.

A guy (American surprise surprise) in one of our conference meetings joked that maybe the virus would take care of the homeless issue for all of us. I wanted to jump through the phone and punch him out DkBhos 🤬

By this measure A zombie apocalypse isn’t far. More mutated and dangerous virus strains will definitely arise in our future. Hahahah I must sound like a loonytoon completely out there 🤪 but for real man practice shooting at the head in a gun range or take up archery लोल

But a little good news maybe a vaccine will surface soon —
