As for anurag as you said he married komolika, slept with her which resulted in them having a child together and have stayed married to her for 8 years and still the response to this from some was not outrageous as it was during prerish marriage lol however I'm happy most of the audience is beginning to see anurag and prerna for what there relationship really is .

You're right. responses to the two marriages are so different and that tells a lot.

But more than it being about Bajaj and Komolika, the different way of portrayal of the ML and FL's morality in the show is so problematic.

I honestly would have taken this Topic seriously if someone like Grace would have opened it and genuinely discussed this topic .

Because it’s Important as Prerna as a character has never been dealt sensitively by writers themselves . Sometimes for Anurag and sometimes for Bajaj...... she has got worst treatment.

For ex: Anurag was criticised when he humiliate Prerna and married Komolika but Prerna was bashed and abused when she genuinely care and respected Mr Bajaj in the previous track.. When she had every right to do so as RB respected each and every terms of their deal..

Anurag gave Prerna pain and humiliate her to push her away where as Prerna demeaned herself to push away.. still Prerna was bashed and abused more during PRB marriage track than AnuLika’s track..

Pre will be bashed by both the sides always. I dont know about others but I have always said that she should choose one and stick to him ...dont give hope to one and do the opposite...I haven't spoken about her and bajaj post the leap bec there is no clarity at all reg their relation....

Right now she doesnt have to choose , she is on a diff tangent and she needs a closure to that chapter of life . Where she truly fails is in her own actions . If she actually loves anurag and wants to dream about him in the name of revenge , she could have just gone bk to him and apologize for not being dead and beg him to take her back.thats soulmate love , devoted love isnt it ? If she is slightly sane she will realize how anrag has wronged her.high hopes but we can hope. And the day this happen we will say that pre has matured. 😆 Rest everything is just maze lena on daily basis..no serious bashing or mocking for anyone..this serial.is not that deep ke characters have to be analyzed.

Men are always exempted despite bedding and marrying multiple women but the females must not even talk to someone in a normal tone. How liberal!

P.S. Actually Mr Bajaj wouldn’t appreciate if Prerna ends up degrading herself again by worshipping grounds, preparing SR beds, doing household chores, and getting disgraced every now and then. He’s manly enough to shield her from it all.

It's the singlemost bothersome thing I've found lately.

How's the ML living his life with a villain for 8 years and nobody is calling him out on it while the FL was not even doing anything and yet was manhandled and given a whole lecture by the ML' sister, taunted by the ML's mother and his entire family.

Right now ML's marriage with a villain is shown as comic relief. They are touching, cupping each other's faces... The CVS dont realize their hypocrisy.

Since you've listed out the comparisons between the ML and FL, let me do the honors of listing out how the FL and supporting actor, or as some would argue the parallel ML are treated differently.

Prerna is expected to worship the ground he walks on. Even though her marriage to him happened in less than ideal situation she was bashed all the time because she didn't develop feelings for him, because she pined for the love she had lost. Prerna even making rotis for someone else in the middle of the night was disgusting, but Bajaj propositioning a woman half his age, who was pregnant and engaged at that time with a "deal" was cool, coz hey, she agreed. Mutual consent bro!

If kuki is dreaming about boys in india, chee, it's all prerna's upbringing..

If she bravely goes to save her mother, bajajs blood after all.

If prerna doesn't console kuki after she regains consciousness, instead asks about anurag, she is the worst mother. So much so that her own daughter is better off without her.

But Bajaj calls kuki only to talk to prerna, because he couldn't reach her phone, and doesn't have a single word to ask his daughter how she is,alone in a new country, is all OK. He's a man of few words.

Prerna has still not moved on from her past. In 8 years she has not fallen head over heels with this man who saved her. She was betrayed by one man so the solution, if she were a strong woman would be to move on with another. She hasn't done that. So She is hopeless, spineless, loser etc etc..

But Bajaj continues to love a woman who has neither led him on nor given any such hint is the greatest love of them all.

See. Hypocrisy exists everywhere. 🤷🏾‍♀️And since Bajaj is such an important part of kzk and prerna's life, we need to do this comparison too.

Exactly isn't it.

If you remember, during the Bajaj 1 track many of the pro prerna posts that I made used to face the same ridicule, because at that time, a certain "section" was not happy.

This is always the case isn't it. And this problem in itv stems from the audience or fans I feel, since even the couple fans are largely the ML actor fans. Rarely are there FL fans or fans who root for a couple together.

I wish a holier than thou attitude would not be adopted though. This mightve been a good discussion then.
