Thappad will probably flop but so what? It's just a small movie that will get released in a smaller number of theaters and then go to streaming for those that want to see it.

The guys behind BOI are personally hurt because these films are actually about these mysoginistic idiots. Kisko accha lagta hai apne aap ko bade parde mein dekhte hue as a negative character.😆

Please Bollywood make movies without worrying about whether it will be a hit at the box office or not. The author of this article sounds a like moron.

The entitlement YOU speak of? I believe it's called the right to be treated as humans.

I don't really give much importance to most of the newspaper reviewers for the simple reason that they review the topic of the film and not the actual film.

I am not aware of the meaning of your references to mango or orange men , neither am I interested in it.

Usually it is most of the well-to-do, well-fed, well-clothed, guys and girls who have a sense of self-entitlement.

Oh?😂 Only those who are well fed and entitled think highly of Thappad? You mean the movie which says men should not feel entitled to treat their wives as though they're subhuman?

Some chutzpah, to categorize a need to be treated as fellow humans as entitlement!😆

My original post does not mention Thappad at all. I made a general statement.

You seem to have been quite hurt by the comment of a stranger on the internet which is not even about a film you like but just a general observation. Are you angry that somebody disagreed with you ?

Anyways, there is a difference between topic of a film and content of a film.

For quite some time now attempts have been made to pass third rate films made by incompetent filmmakers, about sensitive issues, as 'content films' and people are expected to watch them. If anybody criticizes such films they are foul mouthed. That is self-entitlement.

I have no issues if anybody thinks highly about a film, including Thappad, which in my opinion is a third rate film made on a very sensitive issue. Each to his own.

😆 how in the world did you go from my post to being hurt about anything? Entitled idiots have always existed in the world. Going by the reaction of Indian male tweeps, they do think they should be entitled to beat up their wives. Questioning the artistic value of the movie.... fair enough. Everyone is free to have an opinion. But most adults can see the diff between genuine criticism and criticism meant to camouflage entitlement.

BOI guy seems to have the 'bad bone' against certain movie types.

Pity..makes them look very unprofessional..biased.

They should accept not everyone will make massy/action movies.

Certain Industry people should accept that a lot of people do like these films instead of terming them rickshaw type films 😊
