I too think Punjabi music is the only way today’s we nri Punjabi’s connect to our roots. I was born in india and raised in America and even tho I know Punjabi really good I find it hard to teach it to my daughter. The onlt Punjabi she knows is through Jasmine Sandlas’s songs. canada is very desi, everyone and kids born here can speak punjabi, even if its a mix of english and punjabi. i think its cause of how brown it really is. bc, toronto and Alberta are all brown. i think music helps tooo, the older kids get the more connected and proud they feel

also i feel like once your daughter gets a bit older she may connect with the culture more, i ve noticed that myself growing up :)

hey check on page 257! theres a detailed version. overall short form the singer is talking about how he doesnt mess around making relationships. once hes in one its pretty much for life like paki (forever) and no one can break it. :)

Though, I'm a Punjabi Jatt but I don't listen to Punjabi music. I don't like their lyrics. It can be hardcore sometimes. And, I have not been to Amritsar 🙄 maybe next year, I will go there. But, I been to Hyderabad 2 years ago and visited Hazur Sahib 😍❤️

As far I know, Shehnaaz tattoo is the name of Karan's song "Don't look" not his face. Correct me if I'm wrong.
