I might be a mod but I am a member too and I am eligible to participate in contests as well. I don’t see it’s unfair at all. And regarding judges even if they know who has worked they will give their decision in the basis of the points I have mentioned earlier. And moreover the thread example that I had given in my clarification post you were a judge in that contest and I was the mod and a contestant. You never had any issues then. All three judges who judged that contest knew me, yet the team I was in were the runner up and not the champion. So it proves creativity is what matters. Everyone has their own creative side and it should not be compared with anybody.

Finally we come to the end of this contest today. Thanks to both the mods for planning such an interesting contest👏

I really enjoyed myself and especially the treasure hunt was mind boggling for all of us😆

This round too we had a tough time completing so many posts and we all working day night to make this thread a success.

The best part is that I got so many new friends 😃🤗

I am no participant here , however since everything is on forum .. let me post

however this round is based on perception , had the judges been revealed , other teams would have made threads in accordance to the likes/preferences of the judges . ( to go with a classy 19th century thread or a vibrant bollywood theme thread or to go with a minion thread) and unfortunately only two teams have mods who know the judges and have the opportunity to make threads according to their likes/preferences

Team Prerna - 30 th anniv of Veena Rajesh

And, it is a team work and everyone worked hard on this. Each and every member contributed and that’s what matters. From just one member at the beginning in Anurag’s team when no one wanted to take part. I pitched in alone. None seemed to have any issues then and no one objected then. I am very proud of all the teams and team members for successfully completing this contest when at one point I thought there won’t be any participation. So let’s not take away the credit from anybody.

when no one pitched in for any other team , u can always scrap the contest or make the team which has members as winners, instead of going ahead with zidh and ego , because one group boycotted the contest .

organizers participating as contestants is conflict of interest which even if defended cannot be justified as there is a clear cut conflict of interest .

hopefully , such things are not repeated henceforth in any contest and I might participate in next contest only to question any such conflicts of interest right from the start , even if I don't contribute in creativity

That was a contest amongst base level equals of avatar and sigs forum not a soap forum where the ability levels r different.Understand the difference!

^ this is the not the first time it happened. I took part in other contests where I was the organiser as well as a contestant and even the judges knew me then. So why is it a problem now?

Why would we scrap it when we wanted this contest to happen. And not that anybody withdraw from the contest. Everyone completed their rounds very efficiently and all are looking stunning.

No one forced you so dont play victim please u cud havw scrapped the contest but yr ego wudnt have that so u went ahead and erum always had time for the contest but not member concerns

I said what i did bec i saw a diff in the quality of the thread basis previous rounds and given this is the decider
