Divangi sar chadh ke bole and En(un)tangled Tale of Love #Completed.
Right now I am loving the Destiny by NainaTales. She is an awesome storyteller and the characters in her story are all very sensible . Raman and Ishita in her story are very genuine characters and not like over the top cheesy and dramatic like most other Ishra stories.
I read Vee's desire too. I very much liked her description of Raman but I didn't liked the Ishita in that story.
She is too needy, clingy and suspecting. She had played victim for not being able to produce a child and blames Subbu for leaving her for child. But later she only complains that although she has Adi and Ruhi but she misses the experience of early years of childhood. So now she needs a baby of her own. Someone tell me how she is any different from Subbu or anyone who wanted a child of their own. In later chapters she doubts Raman's character and accuses him of cheating on her with some movie star. A devoted loving husband like Raman, how can someone doubt his intentions.
I only read that story for Raman. Raman is fabulous. He did everything he could to make his otherwise not-so-nice wife happy. I can't believe I have fallen for a fictional character but he was simply amazing.
Thanks, Dear....I would read Maanvir's stories...I remember reading "Chaar Kadam" from her...it was lovely...Thanks for the suggestions :)
Destiny? Yeah, it was suggested by others too...I am glad people are liking that so much...have bookmarked it...Thanks :)
Vee's Desire...very different story yet similar to the original YHM in some sense...apart from the characters, I love her way of writing the whole setup...while reading, I could actually imagine all of that happening in front of me...
I agree...Desire's Raman is my favorite too...One cannot stop loving him...he was as real as possible...no extra pomp off...honest to the core...was aware of his weakness and insecurities and once decided that he wanted to be with Ishita, he never shied away from bearing his true self to her...
Umm, regarding Ishita...I agree with some of the things you mentioned...she was more affected by her past and obviously her own insecurities used to resurface seeing Raman surrounded by his exes, or any other lady for that matter...I guess that was pretty real too...she was no Mahanta ki Devi...which I liked...no one is perfect, she came with her own set of problems into the marriage...
regarding suspecting Raman with the movie star, then I guess we gotta give it to her because she expected transparency in their relationship, and Raman even if not lied, hid the truth from her even if it was to not hurt her...and how else would a wife react if she hears some lady talks like that regarding her husband and her said husband doesn't scold the lady or whatever...Well, this is simply my perception...I loved you shared your thoughts...
Much Love
