Wendy, I understand where you are coming from. But the channel went for a concept that the larger fandom was forcefully against. The Fandom had been begging for a Sidnaaz date and what they get via MSK on the first day are speed dates with random guys. The channel literally cracked open the romantic narrative that had been built via BB by forcing Siddharth to friendzone a girl who called him husband until a week back.

A fandom is built on emotions. Sidnaaz the couple themselves have been projected as a slightly toxic couple whether we like it or not. Naturally the fandom that follows them carries the same behavioral patterns to some extent. I am not justifying them by any means but just giving more perspective. These prospective grooms seem hazardous to the self to the ordinary fan with zero access to inside information of any kind- they are literally in an impossibly helpless state. These are not people with super analytical skills to join the dots and make sense of it. They respond impulsively to what they see. A guy who flirts or tries to with the girl of their idol whom they relate to insanely, that too in his absence is their common and collective enemy.

Similarly somebody who hazarded the Sidnaaz journey through these 4.5 months inside the BB house have turned enemies. Until now, the participants were the doers and the audience the receptives with no voice besides venting. Like we always say, every action does have a reaction. The contestants who went against Sidnaaz and constantly irked the audience will bear the brunt of it to some extent and that will naturally die its own death. And Aarti did release some negative press too on Sana, so a single IV is not going to change that.

One cannot expect the entire audience to behave conservatively and maturely. I also completely understand that it shows poorly on the fandoms, but a psychologically mature audience does not make as tumultuous and immediate a fandom- a youthful, emotional, rebellious and impulsive one does. Fan groups can try and hold in emotions, but with the channel playing (or presumed to be playing) with fan emotions since BB’s inception vis-a-vis Sidnaaz, I think some volatility is to be expected even though never recommended. #JustSaying

Uma I absolutely understand it, the frustration has been unleashing and rightfully so but my major concern ,as i earlier posted on thread is this

Shehnaaz and Siddharth have worked so hard for their career, image and these silly trolls disguising as fans are hell bent on ruining it by spreading filth all around.They are professionals, dont they want them to grow...I can understand fans Love them, but dont kill them with your Love.. This kind of Love is toxic..

Its high time stop bashing mahira, arti, these msk contestants, paras, asim etc.l and Move on.. Love your favourite without demeaning others..

I am a believer of karma andI Itnot just reflects poorly on fandom but celebrities too..But you have explained their psychology really well... Hopefully they would tone down eventually!

That is one the reason I want both Sidnaaz take a break from work and social media, to let all this die down.. hopefully it will soon!
