If RS or RK acted they will definitely get an award if not combined award for popular actor or even a special award for an wonderful performer of the year..

....maybe not if they also got the same backlash Kabir Singh and Shahid got this past year

Mabey organizers of award shows don't want the backlash coz giving an award to Kabir Singh would mean validation in the public eye to such movie and character

my own problem with Kabir Singh was the director Sandeep Vanga, his actual way of telling the story ( script), and the bakwas aspects of it and the stupid statement he gave to the media

Shahid performance was good same with Vijay Deverakonda...but because of the above reasons I don't want to endorse such movie to be honest

....but yah another great performed by Shahid and proves once again why he is a great actor, and I don't think RK or RS would have done the character of Kabir Singh the same way Shaid did which was great

so many moments watching Kabir Singh I was like WTF...is this real

So Kabir Singh will be remembered for a long time as a controversial movie...and the discussion about it will never end I guess 😊

The fact that they are putting these moral standards for certain films is in itself a problem. A movie is a movie. AN if your gonna start doing this than dont do award shows to begin with

I agree a movie is a movie and it should be about the best performance at the end of the day.....and yes society is filled with people who do wrong things all the time but glorifying such characters in movies is a dangerous thing

..... you can show a character doing unethical things to the audience, for example, showing evil or bad characters.......but moviemakers such as anyone working in the field of artistic expression have a responsibility toward the public

.....we are not with limiting freedom of expression but taking responsibility for your work and not trying to normalize violence or aggression is important especially in a country like India where rape and violence against women are big issues
